The United Nations and countries across the Middle East have denounced Israel after its military attacked a designated humanitarian safe zone in Gaza, killing at least 90 Palestinians and wounding 300 others.

Russia has urged the UN not to support Ukraine’s claims to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, the largest such facility in Europe, accusing Kiev of launching strikes that frequently jeopardize the safety of the plant.

Speaking at a UN General Assembly meeting on Thursday, Russia’s deputy representative to the organization, Dmitry Polyansky, displayed a Ukrainian drone that allegedly hit the plant earlier this year. He said that attacks on the station by Kiev’s forces are “regular and numerous.”

At least 16 Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli attack on a United Nations-run school sheltering displaced people in the Gaza Strip, the Gaza Government Media Office said, as Israel continues to pound the besieged coastal territory.

In a statement on Saturday, the Government Media Office said more than 75 people also were injured in the attack on al-Jaouni school in central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp.

I'm sick and tired of filtering through the crap posted by so called members who have figured out how to post garbage on the main feed of this website.  As a longtime user of the website trying to help counter the corporate-psychopath propaganda I really just can't stand the useless posts by those members who DO NOT respect that this website belongs to Mike and Claire.  I hate every one of you and if we ever meet in person I will firmly express myself by placing my boot as far up your ass as possible to let you know how unwelcome your contributions have been!

The world is on the brink of a catastrophe, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Friday, pointing to the risks of a potential devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

The head of the Shia militia, Hassan Nasrallah, warned on Wednesday that Hezbollah is prepared for a full-scale conflict with Israel and could invade the Jewish state’s northern territories in case of further escalation.

The statement came after one of the group’s senior commanders, Hajj Sami Taleb Abdullah, was killed in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon last week.
