Nuclear Armed and Dangerous Israel Blasts Iran's Peaceful Program

Netanyahu and other Israeli officials suppress information on its longstanding nuclear weapons program - an arsenal with thermonuclear ones and long-range delivery capability able to incinerate entire cities.

On Sunday, Netanyahu railed against Iran's known peaceful nuclear program as a March 31 deadline approaches to reach a preliminary framework deal ahead of a June 30 final one.

BEX Alert - "‘Iran wants to conquer MidEast’: Israeli PM slams prospect of nuclear deal"

The possible signing of a deal on Iran’s controversial nuclear program is “dangerous” as it may be the only thing Tehran lacks to establish control over the whole of the Middle East, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu says.

Iran’s nuclear talks in Lausanne, Switzerland, which entered the final stage before the March 31 deadline, have confirmed “our concerns and even worse," Netanyahu told Israeli public radio.

According to the recently re-elected right-wing prime minister, the "’Iran-Lausanne-Yemen axis" poses a threat to all of humanity and must be stopped.”

The nuclear deal, combined with the control Tehran already has over governments in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, could allow Iran to “conquer” the Middle East, Netanyahu declared.

The Gaza fisherman who built his own reef - and was shot dead there by an Israeli gunboat

The underwater rock formations provide the best fishing grounds off Gaza, but they are just beyond the limit set by the Israelis for local boats. Tawfiq Abu Riyala dreamt up an ingenious plan to solve this problem; but it may have ended up costing him his life.

The 32-year-old fisherman had built up his own artificial rock with planks of wood, tyres, and bits of metal, seemingly well within the area in which he and his colleagues are allowed to operate. It was while he was adding to this pile that an Israeli gunboat opened fire, wounding him fatally.

The battle for the Middle East's future begins in Yemen as Saudi Arabia jumps into the abyss

Half the Saudi army are Yemeni descent! No wonder they are surrendering in droves.

Saudi Arabia has jumped into the abyss.
Its air attacks on Yemen are a historic and potentially fatal blow to the Kingdom and to the Middle East.

The real “story” is more important. Perhaps half of the Saudi army is of Yemeni tribal origin. Saudi soldiers are intimately – through their own families – involved in Yemen, and the Yemen revolution is a stab in the guts of the Saudi royal family.

Israeli soldiers filmed waking Palestinian children in middle of the night for questioning

Footage showing terrified Palestinian children being woken up by armed Israeli soldiers for questioning in the dead of the night has emerged.

Boys as young as nine are shown being questioned about stone throwing and photographed by soldiers who dismiss their parents’ protests.

A partially sighted teenage boy was among those interrogated on 23 February, according to a human rights group.

Israel’s Future Vision of the Middle East

Beginning in 1982 with the «Yinon Plan», a proposed Israeli future for a Middle East based on a series of failed Arab states divided into warring smaller fiefdoms, and maturing in the 1990s with Binyamin Netanyahu’s commissioned policy paper called «A Clean Break», which foresaw scrapping the entire peace process with the Palestinians, Netanyahu enters his fourth term as prime minister in command of an Israel that has scrapped a Palestinian state and which has provided assistance to the Salafist/Saudi axis in support of the Islamic State, Al Qaeda, and other radical jihadist groups. Today, as a result of Israeli right-wing/Saudi/Gulf Wahhabist collusion, Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Yemen are failed states and the Middle East is becoming increasingly «balkanized».

BEX Alert!!! - At Germanwings Crash Site - Chabad emissaries attend memorial service

Together with fellow Chabad emissary in Marseille Eliyahou Attia, Taubenblatt traveled to the scene of the crash. “There were hundreds of beds set up for the families of the victims,” he reported, “but they were empty.”

In accordance with Jewish tradition, which places a premium on bringing the remains of Jewish people to a proper burial, the men set out to see if they could be of any assistance.

While access to the actual crash site—which can be reached only by helicopter—is highly restricted, the two were able to speak to a number of officials and rescue workers.

(Note: Why would the Jewish Supremacist Organization Chabad Lubavitch be so interested in getting access to this crash site crime scene???)

Yemen Exploding: Is the Stage Set for the Big War?

This new expansion of the war in Yemen is a bad sign. The situation could easily worsen, involve many countries, and last for a long time to come. The stage for the “Big War” may well be set and we will be hearing a lot more about Yemen and the Arabian Peninsula in the coming months. If this war gets out of hand, I would expect that the benefits of $45 per barrel of oil will soon end. There is no doubt in my mind that the American people – financially and for security reasons – would be better served if we just came home and avoided these nonsensical military interventions that are carried out in behalf of various special interests that control our foreign policy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, it does appear that Dr. Paul is absolutely correct in his assessment of where things are going here.

But the real confirmation will be the voting through of the Charlie Rangel's legislation for reinstatement of the draft in this country. Currently, the legislation is still sitting in committee, and it appears that rather than kill it outright, the House Armed Services Committee is waiting for the "right moment" to pass it.

EU keeps Hamas on ‘terror’ list despite court ruling

The European Union (EU) has kept Hamas on its terrorism blacklist despite a court ruling ordering the 28-member bloc to remove the Palestinian resistance movement from the register.

Israel through PNAC had told the US military to invade 7 countries for them

Paul Craig Roberts was Assistant Secretary for Policy in the Reagan Treasury Department. He could be called the conscience of the Reagan Republicans. The other day in a radio interview Roberts said America has become Murder Incorporated. America has spent trillions of dollars killing millions of Muslims for no rational reason.

You might remember the 7 nations General Wesley Clark said America was to invade beginning with Iraq in 2003. That list came from PNAC (Project for a New American Century) which originally received it from the Israelis. PNAC also received fake intelligence reports on Iraq’s non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) which they passed onto the White House through the Office for Special Plans in the Pentagon. The OSP was a group created by PNAC for the purpose of getting America to fight a war for Israel in Iraq to do regime change.

For G.O.P., Support for Israel Becomes New Litmus Test

When former Secretary of State James A. Baker III accused Israel’s leader this week of undermining the chances of peace in the region, he said nothing more than the kinds of things he had said at times when he was in office a quarter-century ago.

But the instant backlash from fellow Republicans that prompted Jeb Bush, the son of Mr. Baker’s best friend, to distance himself underscored just how much their party has changed on the issue of Israel. Where past Republican leaders had their disagreements with Israel, today’s Republicans have made support for the Jewish state an inviolable litmus test for anyone aspiring to national office.

World War II myths fuel Western crimes

Freshman US Senator Tom Cotton already has two claims to fame. First he wrote a letter to Iran in an effort to sabotage his own President’s diplomatic efforts and start a war. And then he set an all-time record by invoking Hitler in less than one minute during his first Senate speech.

Sen. Cotton thus stands condemned under Godwin’s Law, which states that whoever mentions Hitler first automatically loses the debate. “Playing the Hitler card” is widely reviled. Yet people like Cotton cannot resist the temptation.

Why has the demonization of Hitler—and of anybody one wants to demonize through comparisons to Hitler—become such a massively overused, utterly shopworn cliché?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Because the image of Hitler props up Israel politically, and loyal servants to Israel shall use Hitler and the Nazis and the Holocaust at all times!

Israel says to release Palestinian tax funds

Move welcomed by the US which has been at odds with Israel over recent actions

Occupied Jerusalem: Israel said Friday it will release hundreds of millions of dollars in tax funds it has withheld from the Palestinian Authority as a punitive measure.

The United States swiftly welcomed the move, which could help disarm tensions with Washington and the international community after a polarising Israeli election campaign.

“We welcome the decision of the prime minister of Israel to release withheld tax revenues to the Palestinian Authority,” said US State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke.

“This is an important step that will benefit the Palestinian people and will help stabilise the situation in the West Bank.”

Israel to resume tax revenue transfers to the Palestinian Authority

After months of freezing tax revenue transfers as punishment for the Palestinian Authority's application to the Rome Statute, Israel announced on Friday that it will release the money to the interim government in Ramallah.

The announcement was made in a press release by the Prime Minister's Office just before sundown Friday.

This past January, Israel froze the transfer of some NIS 500 million in tax collections to the Palestinian Authority.

The move came as a protest of the formal application for membership of the International Criminal Court that was filed on Friday on behalf of the “State of Palestine.”

Saudi Arabia says it won't rule out building nuclear weapons

Saudi Arabia will not rule out building or acquiring nuclear weapons, the country’s ambassador to the United States has indicated.

Asked whether Saudi Arabia would ever build nuclear weapons in an interview with US news channel CNN, Adel Al-Jubeir said the subject was “not something we would discuss publicly”.

Pressed later on the subject he said: “This is not something that I can comment on, nor would I comment on.”

The ambassador’s reticence to rule out a military nuclear programme may reignite concerns that the autocratic monarchy has its eye on a nuclear arsenal.

Western intelligence agencies believe that the Saudi monarchy paid for up to 60% of Pakistan’s nuclear programme in return for the ability to buy warheads for itself at short notice, the Guardian newspaper reported in 2010.

When launched, NBC described its mission as waging “economic and psychological warfare” against Iran. The group was founded and is run and guided by a roster of U.S., Israeli and British neocon extremists such as Joe Lieberman, former Bush Homeland Security adviser (and current CNN “analyst”) Fran Townsend, former CIA Director James Woolsey, and former Mossad Director Meir Dagan. Israel committed war crimes in Gaza war: Rights group

A nongovernmental federation for human rights organizations says Israel perpetrated war crimes and crimes against humanity during its devastating military onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip last summer.

In a report entitled “Trapped and Punished: The Gaza Civilian Population under Operation Protective Edge” published on Friday, the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) pointed to examples of indiscriminate and direct attacks against civilians and civilian objects, disproportionate use of force as well as deliberate attacks targeting medical services during the Israeli war on Gaza.

The report further made a reference to Israel’s “refusal of access to humanitarian relief, the targeting of residential areas, operational healthcare facilities and transport, and life-sustaining civilian infrastructure” among the regime’s violations of international law.

The Alternative Right is perhaps overly impressed with the use of “cuckold” as an insult, but no other word so accurately describes the behavior of the Republican Party and mainstream conservatives in response. JEB BUSH: The Israel/Iran comparison is probably the most telling. As we’ve disengaged over the first term of his office, now we are seeing the ramifications of this. The implications of instability now are becoming more and more apparent. Americans want their president to keep America secure and to keep American citizens secure and this policy of pulling back, of disengagement is not the right approach. Mordechai Vanunu brought his camera to work in late 1985, shortly before leaving his eight-year stint as a technician at Israel's nuclear weapons factory at Dimona.

Acting on his conscience, he carefully took about 60 photos of the top-secret labs and unique production processes involved. When some of these photos were originally published in the London Sunday Times' exposé, they confirmed his eyewitness testimony about the extent of Israel's nuclear weapons program and revealed Israel to be one of the world's top nuclear powers. Espionage, Treason, and the Congressional Fifth Column

"Soon after the U.S. and other major powers entered negotiations last year to curtail Iran’s nuclear program, senior White House officials learned Israel was spying on the closed-door talks.

"The spying operation was part of a broader campaign by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to penetrate the negotiations and then help build a case against the emerging terms of the deal, current and former U.S. officials said. In addition to eavesdropping, Israel acquired information from confidential U.S. briefings, informants and diplomatic contacts in Europe, the officials said.

"The espionage didn’t upset the White House as much as Israel’s sharing of inside information with U.S. lawmakers and others to drain support from a high-stakes deal intended to limit Iran’s nuclear program, current and former officials said."

Obama Takes Revenge Against Israel By Ordering Secret Nuclear Program Documents Declassified

In a development that has largely been missed by mainstream media, the Pentagon early last month quietly declassified a Department of Defense top-secret document detailing Israel’s nuclear program, a highly covert topic that Israel has never formally announced to avoid a regional nuclear arms race, and which the US until now has respected by remaining silent.

But by publishing the declassified document from 1987, the US reportedly breached the silent agreement to keep quiet on Israel’s nuclear powers for the first time ever, detailing the nuclear program in great depth.

Israel “Spied On the United States” During Iran Nuclear Negotiations

The intelligence services of Israel have allegedly been spying on American officials during their closed-door negotiations with the government of Iran over its nuclear program. The Wall Street Journal said the spy operation forms part of a broader campaign by Tel Aviv to sabotage the talks, which are aimed at bridging the differences between the Islamic Republic and a group of nations that have come to be known as P5+1, representing the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany.

I suspect the word “occupation” – even the more precise “belligerent occupation” – fails to convey to most people the reality of daily horrors inflicted on the Palestinians. But what does an occupation feel like if you’re a child, if you’re four or eight years old?

Now MOSSAD weighs into Iran sanctions row at secret meeting with senators: Israeli spy chief warned about ‘throwing a grenade’ into nuclear talks.

The head of Israeli's intelligence agency, MOSSAD, held a secret meeting with a group of U.S. senators last week, the Prime Minister's Office said today.
And he did in fact bring up the possibility of purposefully 'throwing a grenade' into nuclear talks with Iran in order to get a better deal in the long run while speaking to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

FLASHBACK - The Israeli Spy Ring

"Israel does not spy on the United States of America."
-- Mark Regev, a spokesman at the Israeli embassy in Washington

Prior to 9/11, the FBI had discovered the presence of a massive spy ring inside the United States run by the government of Israel. This seems a harsh gratitude from a nation which obtains 10% of its annual budget from the American taxpayer, $3+ billion a year. Over the years, American taxpayers have been required to send Israel more than four times what the US spent to go to the moon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In response to accusations that Israel has been spying on the P5+1 negotiations in order to sabotage them, Israel once again is claiming that they never spy on their good friends the United States.

Of course, this is just another Israeli lie!

FLASHBACK - Israeli Spying: The Mother of all Scandals

So here is the mother of all scandals.

For two years, the FBI has suspected AIPAC of spying for a foreign country, and for those two years (and for decades before) that group suspected of spying for Israel has been reshaping the US Congress for the benefit of a foreign government.

And THAT is the mother of all scandals.

Boehner ‘baffled’ by reports that Israel spied on US/Iran talks

ed note–every elected official in DC, from the President to every member of Congress (including and especially the House Speaker) has a team of interns whose job is to scour the newspapers EVERY DAY for ANYTHING that can impact on them personally/professionally in any fashion, given that in the world of politics, ‘surprises’ can have dire results.

Therefore, Boehner’s assertion that he was not ‘aware’ of a story such as this originating in the Wall Street Journal is an out-and -out LIE, and especially given the fact that by implication, he would have been one of those on the receiving end of this classified information being supplied by a foreign government that is actively working to undermine the OFFICIAL business of the Executive Branch in negotiating with another nation.

Time for Obama to shake things up, 'declare Israel nuclear state'

Following reports of Israel’s espionage against US-Iran nuclear talks, it is time for the Obama administration to “declare Israel a nuclear state”, says Jim W. Dean, a columnist and political commentator based in Atlanta.

Current and former American officials told the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday the spying operation was part of a campaign by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “penetrate the negotiations and then help build a case against the emerging terms of the deal.”

Dean told Press TV in a phone interview that “this comes as no surprise,” as Tel Aviv has been engaged in spy activities in the United States in other different areas including “industrial espionage to steal trade secrets”.

“Israel is a kind of parasite on the West. They have the right to just steal and take anything possible.”

Israel, settlers grabbing Palestine land: UK minister

The Israeli regime with the assistance of a “radical” settler group has been grabbing Palestinian land under the pretext of providing protection for historic archaeological sites, a British minister says.

We are concerned that this link has led to Israel Antiquities Authority's support of radical settler activities in and around the Old City under the guise of tourism and protection of Jewish history,” UK Foreign Office Minister Baroness Anelay said.

Video: Israeli night raids on sleeping Palestinian children

Israeli human rights group B’Tselem today released two harrowing videos of heavily armed Israeli soldiers raiding the bedrooms of Palestinian children in the middle of the night.

The first video, above, is titled “Night search of Sameeh and Mai D’ana’s home, Hebron, 24 February 2015.”

The video was shot during a night raid on ten homes in the occupied West Bank city. B’Tselem does not say who shot the video, but typically the videos it releases are made by Palestinians.

After forcing the children – at least one as young as four – out of their beds, the video shows the soldiers in full combat gear, armed with rifles and hand grenades, photographing and interrogating them.

The father asks the soldiers why they are invading his home in the middle of the night.

“Because stones are thrown at us all day long,” one soldier replies.

Boehner, Graham deny complicency in Israeli spying… as they dash to Israel for Spring Break

The Wall Street Journal has released an article stating that Israel, which has long been known to engage in aggressive espianage against the United States, has been feeding stolen information on the U.S. nuclear talks with Iran to Congressional stooges in order to thwart any deal with Iran that could get in the way of an attack on that country. Lindsey Graham, who piles up frequent flier miles from his junkets to Israel, made the implausible statement that “No one from Israel’s ever briefed me about the agreement. If they’re spying, they’re not telling me about it.”

Is Netanyahu Behind the Massacre in Tunis?

Is Israeli intelligence behind the massacre in Tunis? Ask yourself, why would Tunisians commit such a monstrous atrocity that harms no one - but Tunisia? Cui bono?

The senseless terrorist attack on innocent civilians at the Bardo Museum in Tunis, in fact, bolstered no one except Benjamin Netanyahu, whose duplicity had been utterly exposed the day before the attack - when he was re-elected to head the Zionist state that occupies Palestine.

No group had even claimed responsibility for the murderous attack on tourists visiting the Bardo National Museum in Tunis until the Israeli website, SITE Intelligence Group, "interpreted" the terrorist attack for the Western media - and blamed Islamic State - the following day.

The Israeli interpretation, from Mossad's SITE, of the attack in Tunis could have come straight out of one of Netanyahu's books from the 1980s about "Fighting Terrorism."

Netanyahu election aftermath: Reaping the consequences of Israeli fanaticism

Mearsheimer and Walt try to see Israel as a normal state capable of making rational decisions, but the extremists are in charge and have been so at least since the 1967 War. Any attempt to make a meaningful withdrawal from the West Bank and Jerusalem and to allow a viable Palestinian state would produce a civil war among Israelis and likely provoke a strong response by the lobby on the side of the nonaccommodationists. The fate of the Oslo peace process, the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and the support by the lobby of the most radical elements within Israel certainly argue that there is little chance of a successful move in this direction.

Israel’s “Every Day Terrorism”, Crimes against Palestinian Children. For Hamza: Arms Sanctions Against Israel

Look carefully, look tenderly, don’t turn away. Please don’t turn away as all the nations of the world have, for decades, turned away from Palestine.

Hamza is Palestine.

Look carefully at Israel’s savage violation to his once perfect little body when on the 25th July 2014, Israel’s soldiers loaded and fired pale blue artillery shells that discharged white incendiary rain on Gaza in hundreds of phosphorous-impregnated felt wedges as Hamza and his family slept.

Imagine the agony Hamza suffered from the moment the white phosphorous struck and burrowed through his soft three year old skin. Phosphorous burns are only contained by blocking off oxygen but the extreme pain and, as you can see, the horrific tissue damage endures.

Hamza’s father and two siblings were also burnt but luckily their injuries were less severe. Imagine the wounded family’s terrifying walk through the night to the nearest hospital.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As someone who loves children, looking at this image is very painful for me.

But even more painful is the clear realization that the Israeli government's attitude that this child doesn't matter; that he is just a statistic, collateral damage, if you will, and not to be given a second's thought.

The members of the IDF who ran this operation are probably cursing to themselves that they didn't finish the family off, outright.

And there's the problem.

The nation of Israel, in the 21st century, has become a singularly dystopian country; a xenophobically apartheid, self-proclaimed theocracy with nuclear weapons.

Unfortunately, the US government has enabled this behaviour by doling out money and weapons (all of which are completely illegal, under the Symington Act)to a country where its leadership believes that there is no moral or spiritual parity, or equivalent, between the lives of Palestinians, and the lives of Israelis.

This would be a terrible failing for even one individual to believe this way; but when your entire nation believes this, it is a recipe for an absolute catastrophe.

Obama: We Take Netanyahu at His Word in Opposing Two-State Solution

In his first public comments since the election on the worsening US-Israeli relations, President Barack Obama said he believes he has to take Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu at his word when he say he opposes Palestinian statehood.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sir, forgive me, but how in heaven's name has it taken you THIS long, in the second term of your presidency, to have this magnificent a grasp of the obvious, which you should have known even before you were sworn in the first time?!?

Netanyahu has gone out of his way to avoid, evade, and strategise about how to never hold meaningful talks about a viable Palestinian state.

His "final solution" to the "Palestinian problem" has been serial genocide against the Palestinians, and I would almost be certain that casualty counts in each of the wars against Gaza were sharply debated, in terms of how many the world would tolerate, before the world would pull its funding, and business, from Tel Aviv.

Israeli Delegation Heads to France to Try to Kill Iran Deal

A delegation of senior Israeli officials are headed to Paris this weekend, with plans to meet with top French officials, whom they hope to convince to abandon the ongoing Iran nuclear negotiations.

Traditionally, this lobby against diplomacy at the most vital times of negotiations would involve a pilgrimage to DC, though growing acrimony between the Obama Administration and the Netanyahu government appears to have convinced the later that the French are their best bet to sabotage the nuclear deal.

French officials have at times been the least reasonable in the Iran negotiations, and Israeli officials seem to be betting on another such round of last-minute unreasonableness to kill what seems to be a rapidly approaching deal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Walking away from a nuclear energy deal with Iran will probably mean a Western/Israeli war against it.

BTW, did anyone get the memo, either in Washington or Tel Aviv, that Russia and Iran inked a military cooperation deal earlier this year?!?

Thought not.

And by the way, Prime Minister Netanyahu: now might be a wonderful time to start a conversation about Israel's nuclear weapons capabilities!!

Because under the Symington Amendment, any monetary or military aid from the US government to Israel is strictly illegal, because you do have nuclear weapons, refuse to allow them to be inspected, and Israel will NOT sign the NNPT, which Iran has done.

While Secretary of State John Kerry continues to negotiate with Iran over their nuclear program, one of that country’s top military officials has vowed to “raise the banner of Islam over the White House.”

According to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Ali Shirazi, the representative of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) elite Qods Force, made the remarks at a February 26 ceremony attended by families of martyrs.

According to MEMRI, Shirazi promised that:

'Violence extremely high': EU report slams Israel for settlement building in Jerusalem

An EU report suggests Jerusalem has reached a dangerous boiling point of ‘polarization and violence.’ The account, published by the Guardian, says the EU may take a tougher line against Israel as it continues to build illegal settlements in the city.

The report is prepared annually by the European countries' missions in Jerusalem, who advise EU foreign policymakers. The leaked text, obtained by the Guardian newspaper, describes the emergence of a “vicious cycle of violence … increasingly threatening the viability of the two-state solution,” which it says has been stoked by the continuation of “systematic” settlement building by Israel in “sensitive areas” of Jerusalem.

Obama confirms ‘evaluating options’ after Netanyahu’s ‘no Palestinian state’ pledge

Since Netanyahu apparently meant what he said in announcing that there would be no Palestinian state on his watch, the White House is re-evaluating its policy towards Israel and seeking other option to avoid chaos in the region, the US President has said.

Commenting on the Israeli elections for the first time after PM Netanyahu’s victory, US president Barack Obama made it clear that the US supports the two-state solution in the Israeli conflict despite the PM’s strong pre-election rhetoric.

The two-state solution is “the only way for the long-term security of Israel, if it wants to stay both a Jewish state and democratic,” US President said in his interview with Huntington Post.

Israel shoots 30 Palestinian children since January: Report

A new report shows the Israeli forces are still using excessive force against the Palestinian children in the occupied territories, targeting them with live bullets.

The global movement for the defense of children in Palestine said in a statement that it has documented 30 cases since the beginning of January this year in which the Israeli forces shot the Palestinian children with live bullets.

It added that 29 Palestinian children were shot while they were participating in peaceful marches in the West Bank and the last one was shot by Israeli settlers in Silwan town in the occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem).

McCain: US Senate will block nuclear agreement with Iran

Republican Senator John McCain has threatened that the US Senate would block any nuclear deal, should the Obama administration reach an agreement with Iran.

McCain told CNN on Sunday that “we will do everything in our power to make sure we do play a role because we think that's our constitutional obligations.”

“I don't think they will reach a deal that we can live with,” he added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

John McCain is willing to defy the White House and the American people, neither of whom want any more wars, to please his Israeli masters, who do want war with Iran (as long as your sons and daughters fight it for them). This is a family tradition with the McCains. If you will recall, it was his father, Admiral John McCain, who ran the coverup of Israel's attack on the USS Liberty, a previous attempt by Israel to trick the US into wars on its enemies.

Je Suis Zeon: French Freedom of Speech is a Myth, Says Cartoonist

Journalists and cartoonists defended their right for freedom of speech. But it seems like something is rotten in France.

A Frenchman called Zeon, 31, originally from Paris told Sputnik France his striking story. Recently he was arrested by the French government for his caricatures.

“On Tuesday March 3, 2015, police broke into my house at 7 a.m. The officers were following orders of a judge and led me to the court and then put me under arrest. I was arrested for a caricature which I drew in 2011 and which was opposed by the organization BNVCA (National Bureau of Monitoring of Anti-Semitism). The organization filed a complaint on me in 2011. Currently, the investigation continues.”

He used to draw comics, and since 2007 engaged in caricatures and gained fame as a caricaturist. Currently he leads a group of illustrators and caricaturists who have been boycotted by the media.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Je suis hypocrite!

Apparently in France, freedom of speech means freedom to make fun of anyone ... except Israel. That is not freedom of speech, that is permitted speech!

United States Will Not Take Floor At U.N. Rights Debate on Israel, Palestinians

“The U.S. delegation will not be speaking about Palestine today,” a U.S. spokesman in Geneva told Reuters in response to a query as the debate began. He declined further comment.

Obama takes on Netanyahu

US President Barack Obama has said that he takes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “at his word” that he cannot support a separate Palestinian state alongside Israel, as he dismissed the claim that Netanyahu has softened his stance since winning re-election.

In an interview published with The Huffington Post, Obama said he told Netanyahu in a phone call Thursday, "it is going to be hard to find a path where people are seriously believing that negotiations are possible" - after the Israeli leader rejected the idea of a Palestinian state during the elections.

The Jewish Left Is Not The Solution, It Is The Heart Of The Problem

I have never met Jeff Halper. What I know about him is that he is an American Jew who settled on Palestinian land but opposes Israeli house demolition. Halper appears to be a participant in the Zionist project while at the same time opposing the measures that have been implemented to sustain that plunderous project.

Halper’s moral discrepancy shouldn’t take us by surprise, he is far from alone. This behavioural mode is symptomatic of Jewish Left thinking in general and the Jewish anti Zionist call in particular. Instead of presenting a genuine ethical argument, the Jewish Left is a desperate attempt to convey an ‘image’ of Jewish moral awareness. Instead of being ethical they mimic a true ethical argument.

UK university faces row over anti-Israel summit

A quarrel has erupted over a British university holding a summit questioning whether Israel has a legal right to exist under international law, with some saying the conference will be a platform for anti-Semitic views, UK-based newspaper The Sunday Times reported.

The three-day summit, to be held by Southampton University, will bring together figures such as Richard Falk, a Princeton professor and former U.N. special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, and Ghada Karmi, an Exeter University research fellow who claims that she and her family were “forced” to leave their home as a result of Israel’s creation in 1948.

However, in an unashamed attack on free speech, the university has come under increasing pressure to cancel the gathering.

Late last year, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, the Jewish Leadership Council, and the Union of Jewish Students wrote to the head of Southampton's Law School, claiming that the conference would surpass the acceptable".

NETANYAHU’S VICTORY IS GOOD FOR PALESTINE

Yousef Munayyer who is the executive director of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation wrote this brilliant Op-Ed which I found in the International Edition of The New York Times. It certainly puts a new and different perspective on the outcome of the Israeli election results.

Replacing Mr. Netanyahu with his challenger, Isaac Herzog, would have slowed down the B.D.S. movement and halted pressure on Israel by creating the perception of change. A new prime minister would have kick-started a new “peace process” based on previous failed models that would inevitably fail again because of a lack of real pressure on Israel to change its deplorable behavior.

The re-election of Mr. Netanyahu provides clarity.

Netanyahu sank into the moral gutter – and there will be consequences

On election day itself, he sank lower still. In a Facebook video, he posed in front of a map of the Middle East, as if in a war room, and used the idiom of military conflict to warn that “Arab voters are advancing in large numbers towards voting places” and that this was “a call-up order” for Likud supporters to head to the polling stations.

It’s worth pausing to digest the full meaning of that move. The enemy against whom Netanyahu was seeking to rally his people was not Islamic State or massed foreign armies, or even the Palestinians of the West Bank or Gaza. He was speaking of the 20% of the Israeli electorate that is Palestinian: Arabs who were born in, live in and are citizens of Israel. A prime minister was describing the democratic participation of one-fifth of the country he governs in the language of a military assault to be beaten back.

GOP Rep. Louie Gohmert can’t wait any longer: ‘It’s time to bomb Iran’

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) pushed some wild conspiracy theories Wednesday to argue that the U.S. must attack Iran to destroy its nuclear program.

“We need to make clear to Iran: You can play these silly games with our president that buys into them and our secretary of state, but the American people aren’t buying it and you’re going to pay a price,” Gohmert said.

Time to give Palestinians their country back

More than the threat of war on Iran, Netanyahu’s re-election is a call for war on Palestinians everywhere. It is a call for war on human rights and international law. It is a mandate for the Israeli government to murder Palestinians. It gives Netanyahu license to continue Israel's seven-decade policy of racism and apartheid towards the people from whom they stole the land. It is also a call for people of conscience to impose boycotts and sanctions to divest and to isolation Israel. No more business as usual - it is time for outrage, for action, the type of action that brought down apartheid in South Africa. It is a call to finally allow Palestinians to have their country back.

Jon Stewart equates maniac Netanyahu with American whites

Here is a neat little Zionist trick. First take PM Netanyahu, with the blood of thousands of Gazans killed or maimed last summer still fresh on his hands and trying to manipulate America into an insane war with Iran. Then pick one of his most insignificant transgressions, namely warning his supporters that Arab voter turnout likely to be unusually high — the implication being that Arab electoral participation is undesirable. Finally, as the punch line to a joke, say ginning up “racist fears of minority turnout for short-term political gain” is “our thing?” What does he mean by “our thing?” Well, who is not a minority in this country? Whites! And Jon Stewart, as a Jew, has a magic yarmulke that he can put on and take off, depending on whether he wants claim oppressed minority status or magnanimously engage in self-hate as a whitey.

Poll: Netanyahu should be investigated for nuclear weapons tech smuggling before US visit

A March 2012 statement by the co-authors of Confidential claims that “Hollywood mega-producer and former secret agent Arnon Milchan has been asked directly by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres to avoid any public discussion of the book Confidential, asserting that the matter is too sensitive at this time.” Although the book’s authors point to the escalating tensions over Iran’s nuclear program, Netanyahu’s own hands-on involvement in nuclear weapons–related covert action against America is presumably a far more compelling reason for the gag order.*

Rep. Ros-Lehtinen: Congress Will Stand With Netanyahu on Iran

Americans should tell President Barack Obama to "move on" and stop holding a grudge against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen told Fox News.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Americans should tell Ileana Ros-Lehtinen that if she is so concerned about Netanyahu that she move to Israel and leave America to have leaders more focused on America's problems than pleasing a foreign government!

Could Netanyahu Win Actually Spell Progress for Palestinians?

With the "two-state solution" and the so-called "peace process" assumed dead in the wake of Likud's reelection, is the opportunity ripe for a paradigm shift?

Operation Rent Seeking How the war on terrorism became a business model.

The syndrome the Bush administration created in Iraq was what former Pentagon critic Chuck Spinney has called a “self-licking ice cream cone”: the measures to fight the war on terrorism guaranteed more terrorists, which in turn guaranteed the agencies more money to fight the war on terrorism. The same process was at work with respect to torture and drone strikes. It is a great business model for contractors and bureaucratic empire builders, but far less favorable as a national survival strategy.

Netanyahu Unmasks Israel

For years, U.S. politicians have rejected allegations of Israeli racism and excused mistreatment of the Palestinians as a temporary necessity that would be fixed by a two-state solution. But Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has destroyed those arguments in his panic to keep his job, reports Robert Parry.

What Does the Netanyahu Victory 'Mean' for America?

Was it a clear endorsement of Netanyahu's policies? Do we even know what those policies will turn out to be?

Didn’t other nations pretty much say to the US after Bush’s re-election, “Okay, but if you want to start or continue Bush’s wars, you are now on your own.”

Is it not at least conceivable that other nations should now respond to Israel and say, “Okay, but if you truly are not going to agree to a two-state solution, and if your settlements are going to continue to be planned and located to make a two-state solution impossible, then you are now on your own"?

I mean, can we not make continued support contingent on a policy that has at least some hope of leading to (1) peace in the Mideast, and (2) extrication of the US from a situation in which we are attacked and our citizens are killed because we are perceived to support Israel unconditionally?

Israel’s Victory of Fear

Binyamin Netanyahu is probably the most deficient prime minister in Israel’s history. His blunders and vices have been laid bare in great abundance during his nine years in power. When he embarked on his most recent campaign for re-election, even his own supporters and constituents could not hide their disgust at his egomaniacal behavior and his wife’s embarrassing public conduct.
