NASA Predicts Next Solar Cycle will be Lowest in 200 Years (Dalton Minimum Levels) + the Implications

An approaching Grand Solar Minimum is gaining evermore support. Even NASA appears to be on-board, with their recent SC25 prediction — though, predictably, they stay clear of the implications.

NASA’s forecast for the next solar cycle (25) reveals it will be the weakest of the last 200 years.

German Green Party Urges Allowing 140 Million "Climate Refugees" To Migrate To West

The Green Party in Germany is urging that up to 140 million “climate refugees” should be allowed to migrate to the west and given citizenship.

Political leaders like Claudia Roth are claiming that island states in the Pacific could “completely disappear” and that entire population groups should be allowed to re-locate to the west as a result.

All white for some! Skiers heading to Europe's top resorts this Christmas are in for a treat after bumper snowfall brings 'best start to season in 20 years'

Editor of InTheSnow magazine, Patrick Thorne, told The Times: 'This is turning into one of the best starts to a season this century for most of the ski world.

'This is thanks to large and regular snow dumps since early November, the latest of which is coming this weekend.'

At least 15cm of snow is expected to fall over the alps across three days next week, according to forecasters, and resorts in France could receive as much as 25cm tomorrow and on Monday.

In the Austrian alps snow fall is expected every day from Sunday to Friday, except Thursday, and in the Italian alps snowfall is expected right through until Tuesday. Switzerland is also expecting snow in places over the next five days.

Science-illiterate Seattle Times claims carbon MONOXIDE causes plants to produce more pollen, which is why climate change is bad… huh?

The deranged climate hysterics who work at The Seattle Times have been caught fear-mongering about the alleged threat of carbon monoxide – not carbon dioxide, or CO2, the usual target – which the paper hilariously claims is causing plants to produce too much planet-destroying pollen.

As part of a continued effort to create as many climate anxiety-inducing headlines and graphics as possible, The Seattle Times published an article recently claiming that plants are “producing more pollen because of increased levels of carbon monoxide in the air, prolonging allergy season.”

The same article goes on to claim that in addition to producing more pollen, increased carbon monoxide “reduces nutrients in the plants we eat,” while greenhouse gases “chew away at the ozone, leading to an increased risk of skin cancer.”

German Greens Propose Giving Passports to All ‘Climate Refugees’

Members of the German Green Party have proposed that so-called “climate refugees” should be allowed to move to the country and receive a German passport upon their arrival.

The proposal was championed by long-time Green politician Claudia Roth who said the passports should be made available for people in areas such as various Pacific islands, which she said could be threatened by climate change, German tabloid Bild reports.

How many “climate refugees” such a policy would cover is unclear, although the United Nations has previously claimed that there could be as many 25 million to over a billion people affected by climate change by the year 2050.

According to the Greens, the World Bank has put out the number of 140 million climate refugees by 2050 from just South Asia, South America, and Africa, all of which would theoretically be eligible for a German passport under the proposal.

Dutch government is ORDERED to cut greenhouse gases by 25 per cent by supreme court judges following landmark case brought by climate campaigners

The Dutch supreme court on Friday ordered the government to slash greenhouse gases by at least 25 per cent by the end of 2020 in a landmark case brought by an environmental group.

Campaigners from the Urgenda group cheered as judges dismissed an appeal by Prime Minister Mark Rutte's government against two earlier rulings telling it to cut emissions.

Climate change: Met Office says warming trend will continue in 2020

Next year will continue the global warming trend with temperatures again likely to rise more than one degree above pre-industrial levels.

According to the Met Office, 2020 will likely be 1.11C warmer than the average between 1850-1900,

The year ahead is set to extend the series of the warmest years on record to six in a row.

Scientists say the strongest factor causing the rise is greenhouse gas emissions.

Train Company to Get Dressing Down From German Authorities After Embarrassing Greta Thunberg

Train company Deutsche Bahn is set to receive a dressing down from German authorities after it embarrassed climate change activist Greta Thunberg.

Last week, Thunberg appeared in a photograph which many saw as a staged PR stunt. Surrounded by heavy bags, an angelic light fell on Greta’s face as she sat on the floor of a train carriage.

“Travelling on overcrowded trains through Germany. And I’m finally on my way home!” she posted, suggesting that not enough money was being spent on ‘green’ transport.

However, train company Deutsche Bahn swiftly responded to correct Greta, tweeting, “It would have been even nicer if you had also reported how friendly and competently you were looked after by our team at your seat in first class.”

Thunberg, recently crowned Time magazine’s Person of the Year, can add documentary film subject to her burgeoning resumé. The film, tentatively titled ‘Greta,’ was announced by Deadline on Monday for a 2020 Hulu premiere. Director Nathan Grossman has followed the young climate prodigy to the ends of the Earth, from her school-striking on the sidewalk in front of the Swedish Parliament, to the high seas aboard the $4mn racing yacht Malizia II.

Our sun just set a record for spotlessness: In 2019, the sun has been without sunspots for more than 270 days: Some scientists are predicting we are entering a mini-ice-age (what do you think?)

Solar Minimum has just become very deep indeed. With weather records being smashed all over the world this year, our Star has jumped on the bandwagon too. Last weekend, our sun, set a space-age record for spotlessness (quietness).

So far in 2019, the sun has been without sunspots for more than 270 days, including the last 33 days in a row ( which is 77% of the time this year). Since the Space Age began, no other year has had this many blank suns. The previous record-holder was the year 2008 when the sun was blank for 268 days. That was during the epic Solar Minimum of 2008-2009, formerly the deepest of the Space Age. Now 2019 has moved into first place.

Not Climate Change, Greta... Origins of Deadly Heatwaves That Hit Countries Worldwide Discovered

A team of international scientists have discovered what could be behind deadly heatwaves that hit countries across the globe. According to a study published in the journal Nature, climate change researchers found a link between extreme temperatures and Rossby waves, giant meanders that warp air currents in a wave-like pattern and can be observed in the atmosphere as well as in the world's oceans.

The team of scientists analysed climate data from the past 40 years and found that when particular Rossby waves called – wave 5 and wave 7 - appeared in the Northern Hemisphere's jet streams, they sent hot air flow to North America, Europe, and Asia. The hot air, in turn, caused spikes in temperature making the weather extreme in different parts of the world.

Exposing The Promoters Of Climate Anxiety

I have gotten so many calls and emails from desperate folks I can't list them here. One woman tearfully told me her mother was desperately ill in California, but she couldn't move to be with her because she was afraid of the effects of climate change in that state. Another woman called, terribly worried about fires in western Washington from global warming. A few others asked about where they should move to escape our local apocalyptical conditions.

So why are all these people so anxiety-ridden and desperate? I believe it is the unconscionable exaggeration, hype, and fear-mongering of our media, special interest groups, some activist scientists, and a number of politicians. And it is unethical, ungrounded in science, and hurting the most vulnerable among us.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope that science teachers are teaching fact, and not freaking kids out, that the earth is going to die in 11 years, or whatever AOC said in her last tirade on this issue.

What we are facing, is not global warming right now, but a cycle of global cooling.

Global Warming By CO2 Or Cooling By A Grand Solar Minimum

And please check out this following article:

So why are we bing sold "global warming"?!? Ah, because there is money, vast sums of it, to be made, in trading carbon credits, which was precisely what Al Gore wanted to do; create an horrific planetary scenario which, of course, was going to destroy the planet, unless we all "did something"; and you know what?!?

He absolutely lied, because he didn't really have the science on his side, when he created his faux science schemes on global warming theory.

And looking outside our home here in Indiana, we are having the polar opposite of "global warming"; there's ice on the ground here, folks!

Miami Art Week’s ‘sand’ piece on climate change could be made from toxic materials

There’s concern at Miami Art Week that a popular installation about climate change is anything but environmentally friendly, according to sources.

The traffic-jam replica, curated by art-world insider Ximena Caminos, is a commentary on Miami’s climate crisis.

But sources told Page Six the artist used a spray-foam insulation that contains hazardous chemicals. Snow falling in the Alps on second day of summer

It's the first week of summer and rather than sunshine and heat, it's snowing.

Many parts of Victoria have shivered through a cold and wet start to the hotter months, with snow blanketing the alps, leaving Victorian's reaching for their winter woollies.

A surge of unseasonably cold air swept over southeastern Australia during the opening days of summer. This air mass produced thick snow in parts of Tasmania, Victoria and NSW and held daytime temperatures as much as 15 degrees below average in some places.

The lowest temperature measured during the opening days of December was -4.0 degrees at Tasmania's Mount Wellington early on Wednesday morning. This was Australia lowest summer temperature in four years.

More impressively, the highest temperature recorded at Thredbo Top Station during the 24 hours to 9am on Tuesday was only -1.0 degrees. This was Australia's lowest summer daily maximum temperature on record, beating -0.8 degrees at Mount Buller from December 25th in 2006.

A Clear Signal Of Climate Fraud

For the past 130 years, Colorado’s official record maximum temperature was 118 degrees on July 18, 1888 at Bennett.

The state climatologist has erased that, and replaced it with a 115 degree reading from July 20 this year. He said the weather is a clear signal of climate change.

The claim is that John Martin Reservoir, east of Las Animas, Colorado was 115 degrees on July 20, 2019. The 115 reading does not appear credible, because there is a USHCN station at Las Animas, which recorded only 107 degrees that day.

Las Animas has had 424 days over 105F since 1895, and this year’s peak of 107F was fairly average and nowhere near a record.

There is no reason to believe the 115 degree reading is legitimate, or that the 1888 record should be erased, but climate alarmists know they can rewrite history with impunity – because no one in the press will dare question the climate religion. They now take perfectly ordinary weather events, and turn them into all-time records.

Denver snow forecast for Tuesday: Everything is closed (and it’s still snowing)

up, it’s snowing again. And it’s piling up out there.

Snow accumulation totaled 9 inches in downtown Denver and 9.5 inches at Denver International Airport, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Schlatter. It’s not close to the city’s record total for any day in November, which Schlatter said was set in 1946 when the city got 14.3 inches of snow.

ISRAELI GOVERNMENT TO EXPAND GLOBAL ARMS EXPORTS IN 2020

SOURCE: MIDDLE EAST MONITOR
The Israeli government is aiming to increase the volume of Israel’s defence exports, reported Globes, which has revealed the main points of the plan for the first time.

The project, being overseen by the Defence Ministry’s International Defence Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT) led by Brigadier General (Res.) Yair Kulas, will begin to be rolled out in early 2020.

According to Globes, the plan is based on “focused seminars for senior commanders in foreign armies”, Israeli military “assistance for promoting sales of Israeli weapons”, and “subsidising small and medium-sized defence companies seeking to sell arms around the world”.

Speaking this week, Kulas said that SIBAT favours a major expansion of agreements between countries, resulting in significant deals for the large defence companies, especially Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Rafael Advanced Defence Systems.

Climate FACTS: No warming has taken place in the United States since 2005, yet the media refuses to discuss the real scientific data

The USCRN thus provides the first untainted, accurate climate data recorded in the United States since the global warming hysteria first began, and far from proving what so-called experts and media outlets have been claiming, the data shows zero warming since 2005. In fact, temperatures in the United States are now likely slightly lower than they were back then.

This is in direct opposition to the claims of climate activists who insist that specific areas of the United States have shown marked increases in temperature over that time period.

Furthermore, scientists believe that it is likely there have been no temperature increases in the U.S. since at least the 1930s, since the raw temperature readings collected by the USCRN virtually match exactly what was recorded 80 years ago.

And, with the rapid increases in urban development that took place during that time, temperatures are actually likely even lower than those captured by these weather stations.

Kiwi climate change poll has stunning results as Niwa attacks MetService

A recent poll asking how concerned New Zealanders are about the climate has produced a shock result and suggests the Government has failed at educating people as their focus on profits outweighs the science and public good.

The poll, which had over 1000 votes in the first 24 hours, strongly suggests climate change isn't very concerning to almost half of the population - a result we did not expect. The poll was conducted on Twitter which historically leans left. It is not scientific but it's a good gauge. "WeatherWatch.co.nz has a strong rural following but Auckland is by far where most of our audience comes from so this poll really is quite stunning to us, that so many people aren't concerned".

The poll asked "As someone living in New Zealand, how much does Climate Change concern you as of today?". 49% voted "No Concern" while 27% said climate change here in New Zealand was of "massive" concern.

OPCW Accused of Manipulating Syrian Chemical Attack Report

WikiLeaks published an email sent by a member of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), who accused the organization of manipulating their report on an alleged chemical attack that was said to have taken place in the Syrian city of Douma on April 7th 2018.

In response to the alleged attack, the US, UK, and France carried out airstrikes on the Syrian government on April 14th 2018. The author of the email was a member of a fact-finding team the OPCW sent to Douma to investigate the attack.

The author accuses the OPCW of selectively omitting certain facts. The email, dated June 22nd 2018, reads, "Many of the facts and observations outlined in the full version are inextricably interconnected and, by selectively omitting certain ones, an unintended bias has been introduced into the report, undermining its credibility."

Color me unsurprised by these revelations, and reminds me that of painfully accurate statement, "The first casualty of war is truth."

Victoria University of Wellington green goals could pick academics' pockets

Academics are grumbling over Victoria University of Wellington's five-point emissions reduction plan saying its goal will inevitably come from staff members' pockets.

But Vice-Chancellor professor Grant Guilford has hit back saying the purpose of the capital campus' Zero Carbon Plan was to "change behaviours", plus it was in-line with efforts to meet the Paris Climate Agreement. The document included an intention to install solar panels on campus, take out natural gas heating and introduce an internal levy for air travel.

Some of the levy's cash would go toward carbon offsets and the rest to be spent on staffs' carbon reduction initiatives, the plan said.

Weather service says 'accumulating snow possible' midweek in southern Minnesota

It's been rather benign in the weather department for a few weeks now, but that could be changing as the National Weather Service (NWS) is keeping an eye on a storm system that could move through the area midweek.

In Sunday's forecast discussion, the Twin Cities office of the NWS explains that a system could bring rain and snow to southern Minnesota in the Wednesday-Thursday timeframe, and because the system will be tapping into moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, it might have the potential to deliver some decent precipitation.

Those 11,000 “scientists” warning about an impending “climate emergency” are just “11,000 random people,” investigation reveals

In truth, these 11,000 “scientists” are actually just 11,000 ordinary people who were duped into believing that cow farts are destroying the planet, and subsequently responded by signing their names on some website.

According to radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, some “buddies” of his over at the group Power Line were the first to discover that these 11,000 so-called “scientists” aren’t actually scientists at all, despite what fake news media outlets like NBC, CNN, The Guardian, and Al-Jazeera continue to claim.

“There was no study; there was just a press release,” Limbaugh explained on his program. “And it wasn’t 11,000 scientists; it was 11,000 random people who put their names on a website. This was a total managed lie. There was no study. There were no scientists.”
