Is This The End Of The U.S Dollar? Geopolitical Moves “Obliterate U.S Petrodollar Hegemony “ by Mac Slavo

It seems the end really is nigh for the U.S. dollar.

And the mudfight for global dominance and currency war couldn’t be more ugly or dramatic.

The Saudis are now openly threatening to take down the U.S. economy in the ongoing fallout over collapsing oil prices and tense geopolitical events involving the 9/11 cover-up. The New York Times reports:

Saudi Arabia has told the Obama administration and members of Congress that it will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of American assets held by the kingdom if Congress passes a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible in American courts for any role in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

China has been working for years to establish global currency status, and will strengthen the yuan by backing it with gold in moves clearly designed to cripple the role of the dollar. Zero Hedge reports:

Webmaster's Commentary:

The question is not if, but when the dollar no longer maintains its global hegemony.

And many times, monetary wars turn into actual shooting wars, and the US seems to be very close to starting those wars with both Russia and China, to prevent this.

I am doing my best to be the voice of calm, rational thinking here; but please, prepare yourself, if you have not already, for what may be a very difficult transitional time for this economy and nation.

NATO to Condemn Russia at Planned Meeting

Russia and NATO haven’t had any joint meetings in nearly two years, but got together today, with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg saying it is important to keep the line of communications open. In practice, it was just an excuse for the US et al, to condemn Russia.

US officials are complaining about incidents in the Baltic Sea, claiming “Russian aggression” there, and in Ukraine, even though the Ukraine “war” they’ve been condemning Russia over has been in a state of ceasefire for well over a year.

Russia’s not to happy with those Baltic issues either, insisting the US was deliberately trying to intimidate Russia by parking destroyers off the coast of Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave, and flying spy planes around on the outskirts of Russian airspace.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The way the US and NATO have been parking resources and troops around Europe, coupled with massive exercises on Russia's border, concretely telegraphs that some kind of military aggression against Russia is on its way; they only question is when.

UK Killing Civilians for Oil Again in the King Salman Canal Project

The UK government insists on continuing the massive supply – £2.8 billion since the start of the attack – of high tech weapons for Saudi Arabia to use against civilians in Yemen, despite opposition from the EU Parliament and every major human rights group. Furthermore UK special forces are operating inside Yemen in support of the onslaught. Thousands of civilians have died as a result, including many children.

Given this is not exactly popular in the UK, and that after the law takes its tortuous course there will very probably be embarrassment for the government down the line, the prize which Cameron perceives must be great. Of course, western elite support for the appalling Saudi regime is a given, because Saudi cash pumps primarily into banking, armaments and high end property, the three areas most dear to the interests of the 1%.

Enemies Everywhere – The US War On The World

The USS Donald Cook, equipped with the Aegis combat system, recently found the Russian air force unwelcoming as the US conducted military maneuvers just 50 miles from Russian soil. The Russian flyover was greeted in Washington with howls of “aggression!” But why was a US Naval vessel whose purpose is to target enemy missiles — nuclear and conventional — conducting exercises so close to Russia? Is that not also provocative? And what about the US Navy in the South China Sea? And near North Korea? And the Black Sea? Is the US at war with the world really the best idea for our security, or is Washington more interested in the financial security of the military-industrial complex?

Israel Actively “Cooperates” with the Islamic State and Al Qaeda. Military Aid Channelled into Syria out of the Golan Heights

Syria’s chief negotiator at the Geneva peace talks Bashar Ja’afri accused Israel of “cooperating” with the Islamic State and Al Nusra, an affiliate of al-Qaeda in the Golan Heights

According to Ja’afari (quoted by RT):

“This Israeli provocation confirms without any doubt the cooperation between Israel and terrorists of Daesh (Isis) and Nusra Front on the demarcation line between where the Golan is and UN troops are positioned.

“It is no coincidence at all that this Israeli escalation was accompanied by irresponsible statements by members of the so-called Saudi delegation at talks here in Geneva,” Ja’afari added, referring to the main opposition group.

The bad smell hovering over the global economy

All is calm. All is still. Share prices are going up. Oil prices are rising. China has stabilised. The eurozone is over the worst. After a panicky start to 2016, investors have decided that things aren’t so bad after all.

Put your ear to the ground though, and it is possible to hear the blades whirring. Far away, preparations are being made for helicopter drops of money onto the global economy. With due honour to one of Humphrey Bogart’s many great lines from Casablanca: “Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but soon.”

Central banks, of course, swear blind that they are fully in control and that there is nothing to worry about. Perhaps not, but something doesn’t smell right. The fact that economists at Deutsche Bank published a helpful cut-out-and-keep guide to helicopter money last week is a straw in the wind.

Apr 20 10:15

Washington’s Fake War on ISIS “Moves” to Libya

Libya is one place the “Islamic State’s” sponsors believe Russia can’t get them… In 2011, a NATO coalition led by the United States used its own engineered regional campaign of political destabilization, the “Arab Spring,” as a pretext to militarily intervene in first Libya directly, and in a more indirect way, Syria. US and European forces also “quietly” intervened in several other nations, including Mali and the Ivory Coast amid this regional conflagration.

Even in 2011, it was clear to geopolitical analysts that military intervention in Libya was an attempt to divide and destroy the country, giving the US and its collaborators a base of operations to further disrupt and reorder the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA). Almost immediately after US-led strikes on Libya coordinated with terrorist factions on the ground successfully overthrew the Libyan government, weapons and fighters were sent to Syria via NATO-member Turkey.

Warmongering in Warsaw: EU gives Poland greenlight to ramp up tensions with Russia

The Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski recently called Russia 'an existential threat' to Poland and the EU. In his view, Russia is even more dangerous than so-called Islamic State, since the threats posed by the Middle Eastern terrorists are not "existential."
Waszczykowski's comment was made at a security conference in the Slovak capital Bratislava, and it predictably made waves in Russia.

Alexei Pushkov, the head of the Duma's Committee on Foreign Relations, called Waszczykowski "an existential threat to common sense," dismissing the fears of the Polish politician as nonsense.

Trump: Classified Part of 9/11 Report Shows ‘Very Profound’ Saudi Role

What about Israel and the Bush administration Donald!

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The final chapter of the 9/11 report consisting of 28 pages reportedly claims that a Saudi diplomat at a consulate in the US state of California directly aided at least two of the 19 hijackers when they arrived in the United States.

“I think I know what it’s going to say,” Trump told Fox News. “It’s going to be very profound, having to do with Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia’s role on the World Trade Center and the attack.”

Webmaster addition: This is an example of my concern that too much of Trump's world view comes from what he sees on TV. Trump is not yet the President, and cannot see classified documents.

OBAMA WENT FROM CONDEMNING SAUDIS FOR ABUSES TO ARMING THEM TO THE TEETH

In the 2002 speech against the Iraq War that helped propel him to the presidency, then-state Sen. Barack Obama denounced not just the looming invasion of Iraq, but also human rights abuses by our “so-called allies” in Saudi Arabia:
Let’s fight to make sure our so-called allies in the Middle East, the Saudis and the Egyptians, stop oppressing their own people, and suppressing dissent, and tolerating corruption and inequality, and mismanaging their economies so that their youth grow up without education, without prospects, without hope, the ready recruits of terrorist cells.
And he spoke out against the U.S.’s role as weapons supplier to the world:

Let’s fight to make sure … that the arms merchants in our own country stop feeding the countless wars that rage across the globe.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the current bent of American geopolitics, money trumps any possibly of intelligent, and enlightened, foreign policy every time, and the country's president is the "house servant" to the military industrial complex.

Nothing demonstrates that more clearly than does the US government's relationship with Saudi Arabia, a country with a human rights record just to the right of that of Attila the Hun.

"Corporate money uber alles" is the clear winner here.

Debunking the "The Saudis did 9-11" nonsense!

And finally, here is some common sense that totally undermines the attempt to frame Saudi Arabia for 9-11. If Saudi Arabia really wanted to hurt the United States, they don't need to fly airplanes into skyscrapers to do it. All they have to do is ask for their money back, all at once. The resulting damage to the US financial system would make 9-11 look like a minor inconvenience in comparison.

And it would be perfectly legal for Saudi Arabia to ask for their money back.

Which is why we know that the claim that Saudi Arabia was behind 9-11 has no more basis in fact than the claim that Saddam had nuclear weapons or that Assad gassed his own people right in front of the UN chemical weapons inspectors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

PLEASE SHARE THIS ARTICLE AROUND BEFORE WE GET STUCK IN ANOTHER WAR!

Saudi Arabia knows that the US links 9-11 to every nation it wants to invade. First it was Afghanistan, then Iraq (after which George W. Bush admitted on TV Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11).

Saudi Arabia now finds themselves in the croshairs of the US war machine!

To find out if you are being lied to, look for what should be there and isn't, and what isn't there is a motive for Saudi Arabia to attack the United States on 9-11. Saudi Arabia has grown very rich off of the United States with the petrodollar deal. And they have invested much of that money in the United States. Why would Saudi Arabia do anything that would risk having the United States confiscate that money or end the lucrative petrodollar arrangement?

And let us be honest, it wasn't Saudis who were arrested for cheering and clapping while the towers came crashing down, it was Mossad agents. Israeli owned companies like Odigo received advance warning of the attack. Saudi companies did not.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice (or thrice) shame on me!

America Has Been At War 93% of the Time – 222 Out of 239 Years – Since 1776

Below, I have reproduced a year-by-year timeline of America’s wars, which reveals something quite interesting: since the United States was founded in 1776, she has been at war during 214 out of her 235 calendar years of existence. In other words, there were only 21 calendar years in which the U.S. did not wage any wars.

To put this in perspective:

* Pick any year since 1776 and there is about a 91% chance that America was involved in some war during that calendar year.

* No U.S. president truly qualifies as a peacetime president. Instead, all U.S. presidents can technically be considered “war presidents.”

* The U.S. has never gone a decade without war.

* The only time the U.S. went five years without war (1935-40) was during the isolationist period of the Great Depression.

Poland: A New Route for ISIS Weapons Smuggling Operations?

After bringing Ukraine to the stage of complete disintegration, the country has fallen into mired corruption, ruled by oligarchs and extremist groups. This all brings Ukraine towards the final steps of ‘democracy’ and closer EU and NATO structures. Namely, it changes Ukraine into an open mafia territory where one of the primary forms of trade is selling weapons (about 2 million weapons have recently been acquired by the Ukrainian Maidan extremists) to ISIS cells in Western Europe. Poland at this stage will be the territory of smuggling routes and logistics. Paradoxically, precisely because of being a smuggling route, Poland will be able to enjoy, for as long as possible, relative calm since groups of terrorists smuggling weapons from Ukraine will not want to be noticed by local intelligence services in Poland.

U.S. Preparing To Launch Submarine Drones Into Disputed Territory Of The South China Sea

By Nicholas West

An ongoing territorial dispute in the South China Sea over a stretch that comprises more than 750 reefs, banks, and shoals known more generally as the Spratly Islands continues to heat up.

Late 2015 saw a severe escalation when the United States announced that it would send warships directly into a zone which China believes it lays claim to. UK PRIVATE MILITARY FIRM HIRED EX-CHILD SOLDIERS FROM SIERRA LEONE FOR IRAQ OPS

Former child soldiers from Sierra Leone have been employed by a private British military company to provide security for American bases in Iraq as part of a 2,500-strong contingent hired for the job, a new Danish documentary has revealed.

According to investigation based on contract documents, UK’s Aegis Defense Services contracted by US Department of Defense employed some 2,500 mercenaries to provide security force for the Pentagon-administered Project and Contracting Office (PCO) in Iraq.

Part of the security force, according to a documentary, titled Børnesoldatens Nye Job (The Child Soldier’s New Job) included child soldiers from Sierra Leone who were paid only $16 a day.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This sickens me; children should be protected from the violence of war, not forced to fight it.

This private recruitment firm should be sued out of existence, and their executives sacked immediately.

When financial expedience trumps the morally reprehensible, as is the hiring of child soldiers, something is very, radically, horrifically wrong with the corporate culture of the organisation which thinks that this is a good thing.

Landmark Vatican conference rejects just war theory, asks for encyclical on nonviolence

The participants of a first-of-its-kind Vatican conference have bluntly rejected the Catholic church's long-held teachings on just war theory, saying they have too often been used to justify violent conflicts and the global church must reconsider Jesus' teachings on nonviolence.
Members of a three-day event co-hosted by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace and the international Catholic peace organization Pax Christi have also strongly called on Pope Francis to consider writing an encyclical letter, or some other "major teaching document," reorienting the church's teachings on violence.

"There is no 'just war,'" the some 80 participants of the conference state in an appeal they released Thursday morning.

"Too often the 'just war theory' has been used to endorse rather than prevent or limit war," they continue. "Suggesting that a 'just war' is possible also undermines the moral imperative to develop tools and capacities for nonviolent transformation of conflict."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bravo, Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and Pax Christi: well done!!!

I hope (and pray) Pope Francis decides to endorse this with an encyclical letter; this is a very positive outcome to this symposium, and having the weight of the church behind peace would be a wonderful evolution for the Catholic church in the 21st century.

Thousands to descend on London to demand David Cameron’s resignation

Thousands from across the UK are expected to gather in central London Saturday in protest of government austerity measures. They’ll also call for the resignation of Prime Minister David Cameron over revelations of offshore investment funds linked to his family.
The demonstration through the center of the capital will end on Trafalgar Square around 6pm.

The March for Health, Homes, Jobs and Education has been organized by the People's Assembly Against Austerity alongside several trade unions, including Unite. Organizers are demanding that David Cameron’s “vicious government” end its policy of austerity.

Learning To Love The Bomb — Again

By now we are accustomed to bizarre foreign policy moves from the White House. The last 15 years have seen a series of initiatives that defy reason and good sense. The pattern is so well established that on the very rare occasions when a President follows a policy that is eminently logical – like Barack Obama’s decision not to bomb Iran – it is met with shock and awe.

The White House took to the editorial pages of the Wall Street Journal to suggest that, if current negotiations bog down, the Pentagon would put anti-aircraft missiles in the hands of Saudi- and Turkey-supported ‘moderate’ rebel groups, including Daesh, al-Nusra and al-Qaeda, to sink the United States in another decade-long regime change quagmire.

Protesters who blockaded London arms trade fair acquitted after judge sees evidence of illegal weapons on sale

The campaigners, who chained themselves outside the ExCeL centre, had been charged by the Crown Prosecution Service with blocking a highway.

But the court heard evidence from human rights groups and arms trade experts explaining the nature and possible end destinations of the weapons on sale at the fair.

Witnesses described the role of the arms trade in facilitating the repressive Bahrani regime, in Saudi Arabia’s bombing campaign over Yemen, and with Turkey’s internal repression of its Kurdish population.

The judge said the evidence of illegal weapons sales had been left unchallenged by the prosecution and that such sales would potentially break arms control laws.

Driven mad by the horror of war: A shattering new book lays bare the extent of the mental torment the Somme exacted 100 years ago... and how pitiless top brass covered it up

The British Army doctor serving in a casualty station just behind the front line in France knew ‘shell shock’ when he saw it.

Men in the trenches whose minds had gone under the barrage of explosives falling on their heads from enemy guns, or by being steeped in so much gore and misery for months on end, had a haunted look about them.

‘They are exhausted, their faces twitch and hands and arms shake constantly,’ he told his wife in a letter home. They were unable to answer the simplest of questions, their eyes were glassy and bulged out of their sockets, their skin was yellow, their teeth chattered, they swallowed constantly. Some could not speak at all. Others just stared into space without comprehension.

And in the summer of 1916, to his alarm, there were more and more of them reporting to him with these catatonic symptoms.

Craig Murray: The Telegram Criticising Bush That Got Me Sacked (as a British diplomat)

As this blog is now read daily by tens of thousands of people who had not heard of me before, some idea of where I come from might be in order. After a diplomatic career of rapid promotion (senior civil service age 36, my first Ambassadorship in Uzbekistan age 42) my opposition to Bush/Blair’s immoral and counter-productive foreign policy got me sacked.

This telegram (diplomatic communications are called that; cable in the USA) I am with retrospect very proud to have sent. To have made at the time the observation that the Bush/Blair policy of invasion, oppression and torture would not suppress fundamentalism, but would create it, was prescient. I should say I understood very well I would be sacked. Some things are worth being sacked for.

Neoliberalism – the ideology at the root of all our problems

In The Road to Serfdom, published in 1944, Hayek argued that government planning, by crushing individualism, would lead inexorably to totalitarian control. Like Mises’s book Bureaucracy, The Road to Serfdom was widely read. It came to the attention of some very wealthy people, who saw in the philosophy an opportunity to free themselves from regulation and tax. When, in 1947, Hayek founded the first organisation that would spread the doctrine of neoliberalism – the Mont Pelerin Society – it was supported financially by millionaires and their foundations.

With their help, he began to create what Daniel Stedman Jones describes in Masters of the Universe as “a kind of neoliberal international”: a transatlantic network of academics, businessmen, journalists and activists. The movement’s rich backers funded a series of thinktanks which would refine and promote the ideology. Among them were the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the Cato Institute, the Institute of Economic Affairs, the Centre for Policy Studies and the Adam Smith Institute. They also financed academic positions and departments, particularly at the universities of Chicago and Virginia.

As it evolved, neoliberalism became more strident. Hayek’s view that governments should regulate competition to prevent monopolies from forming gave way – among American apostles such as Milton Friedman – to the belief that monopoly power could be seen as a reward for efficiency.

I give a good number of speeches each year. For some time I've asked audiences a question: "What useful purpose does the U.S. government serve?" I do that not to be challenging or provocative, but to actually find out if anyone else can think of a useful purpose the government serves. The question at first shocks, then amuses and then perplexes almost everyone because it is both so obvious and outrageous that no one ever thinks of asking it. Most people accept the institution of government because it has always been there; they have always assumed it was essential. People do not question its existence, much less its right to exist.

NAVY VET MAKES THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE — SETS HIMSELF ON FIRE TO PROTEST THE VA’S LACK OF HEALTHCARE

Doused in gasoline, a former chief petty officer stood outside a Veterans Affairs (VA) outpatient clinic when he lit himself on fire and eventually died nine hours later. His wife recently confirmed that her husband was upset with the inadequate care that he had been receiving at the VA facility shortly before his suicide.
A seven-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Charles Ingram III walked nine miles from his home, past an American Legion park and a military veteran memorial, before arriving at the parking lot of the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic around 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19. While standing on a grass lawn near the clinic, the 51-year-old poured several gallons of gasoline on himself before committing self-immolation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This kind of incident, in many forms, across this county, is accelerating for our Vets, and should never, ever be happening, period, end of discussion.

Although I despise war as a way of resolving geopolitical differences, all of our Vets, particularly those who have seen combat, deserve the kind of care that a Dick Cheney gets; they have earned it, even if the reasons for the wars are purely financial, rather than "protecting the American way of life".

President Obama was observed at a photo op today with Vets from the Wounded Warriors Project; perhaps he should have spent the time more wisely by immediately sacking the current head of the VA, Robert Mc Donald, for gross incompetence, and replacing him with someone capable enough to actually do the job.

Oliver Stone: Hillary Has Been for Every War the US Waged

think it was the critic and filmmaker Rod Lurie who once said of Oliver Stone that he has made two of the greatest films of all time and two of the worst—which means he is the director with the world's biggest balls. There is a little room for debate in there, if only on the numbers. The films to which I imagine he referred in praise, Stone's early masterpieces, Platoon (1986) and Wall Street (1987), are indeed resounding and deserving favorites. But to any pile of best-of contenders, I would have to add at least Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Nixon (1995). And, for my money, Stone's JFK (1991) is the best American studio film of the last 40 years.

MEDIA SILENT AS THOUSANDS MARCH ON WASHINGTON DC, 400 ARRESTED

Over 400 people were arrested on Monday as they participated in Democracy Spring at the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. — but, unsurprisingly, corporate mainstream media completely missed the mark, devoting a mere 30 seconds of inaccurate coverage to the event. Democracy Spring describes itself as a movement to “take back our democracy” by employing “mass nonviolent action,” such as a week of sit-ins, on an “historic” scale. While Monday’s mass arrest of no less than 400 people — including journalists — certainly were historic, cable news outlets’ coverage essentially ignored what was happening. As The Intercept noted, CNN completely skipped coverage of both the sit-in and the arrests. “MSNBC mentioned the protests for approximately 12 seconds, while Fox News mentioned the arrests and discussed the protests for about 17 seconds.” Even worse, the two outlets narrowly skewed their reports, describing the massive movement’s targeted concern as “voting rights issues.”

FLASHBACK - Debunking the "The Saudis did 9-11" nonsense!

Sunday night CBS "60 Minutes" (the same show whose executive producer admitted editing their story on Gennifer Flowers to discredit her and help Bill Clinton win the White House) tried to shift the blame for 9-11 onto Saudi Arabia (after helping put the blame first on Afghanistan and later Iraq).

But Saudi Arabia did not have their agents arrested at the scene after being seen cheering and dancing as the towers came down; Israel did. And Saudi Arabia didn't have a motive to commit 9-11; Israel (and the US) did.

CBS did not mention the arrested Mossad agents, or the numerous scientists and engineers who insist the World Trade Center, especially building 7, were brought down in controlled demolitions.

You need to make this article go viral all over the net, or we are going to see another war started against an innocent nation.

How Not To Audit The Pentagon: The Military Waste Machine Is Running Full Speed Ahead

From spending $150 million on private villas for a handful of personnel in Afghanistan to blowing $2.7 billion on an air surveillance balloon that doesn’t work, the latest revelations of waste at the Pentagon are just the most recent howlers in a long line of similar stories stretching back at least five decades.

Why Are Biological And Chemical Weapons Prohibited, But Not Nuclear Weapons?

Recently, as you may be aware, many in the nuclear disarmament field today are zeroing in on the humanitarian consequences of nuclear war. In the March 2016 Arms Control Today, Gro Nystuen and Kjølv Egeland explain that what paved the way for that was the final document of 2010 Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference. It called “for all States at all times to comply with applicable international law, including international humanitarian law.”

Terror Profits — Arms Makers Rejoice as American Bombs Drop Faster than they Can Make Them

By Claire Bernish

The United States is dropping bombs on people at such a furious rate, munitions manufacturers have been unable to keep up with demand.

“We’re expending munitions faster than we can replenish them,” Gen. Mark Welsh said, according to an article in USA Today.

With the U.S. military conducting bombing missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and in U.S.-led Operation Inherent Resolve against the self-titled Islamic State in Syria and elsewhere, it’s no wonder weapons-makers are unable to keep up. Allies have also been making use of those munitions — Saudi Arabia employed U.S.-made bombs in Yemen when it hit and killed an ambulance driver in January...

Turkey’s Airstrikes Empty Villages in Iraq’s Dohuk Province

Villages in the northernmost Iraqi province of Dohuk have been targeted repeatedly by Turkish warplanes in recent months, as the renewed Turkish war on the Kurdish PKK spans both sides of the border. It’s taking a major toll on life in the area.

According to officials from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), about half of the villages in Barwari District, which borders Turkey directly, are completely empty now, with several hundred families displaced deeper into Iraqi Kurdistan by the Turkish war.

Local farmers still go into the area from time to time to tend their crops, but have moved their families away. One such farmer reported the village is being bombed continuously even though it’s empty.

John Pilger: Why Hillary Clinton Is More Dangerous Than Donald Trump

How many people are aware that a world war has begun? At present, it is a war of propaganda, of lies and distraction, but this can change instantaneously with the first mistaken order, the first missile.

In 2009, President Obama stood before an adoring crowd in the centre of Prague, in the heart of Europe. He pledged himself to make “the world free from nuclear weapons”. People cheered and some cried. A torrent of platitudes flowed from the media. Obama was subsequently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

It was all fake. He was lying.

Why We’re Never Told Why We’re Attacked

After a Russian commercial airliner was downed over Egypt’s Sinai last October, Western media reported that the Islamic State bombing was retaliation against Russian airstrikes in Syria. Al Qaeda and the Islamic State’s creation stories can be seen as a combination of domestic despots and foreign intervention. The Next Enron? Pentagon Bankruptcy Could Lead to Global Crisis

As the Pentagon spends billions on wasteful products, it risks a major financial calamity that threatens global stability.

The infamous F-35 fighter program has been a financial boondoggle. NATO As A War-Racket

NATO is the anti-Russia military club of nations, even after the communist Soviet Union and its military club against the U.S., the Warsaw Pact, ended in 1991 — NATO didn’t reciprocate that by ending itself, as it should have done (and would have done if the U.S. President at the time, George Herbert Walker Bush, had had any basic decency; instead, he said in private, “To hell with that; we won, they didn’t!” but he continued telling Gorbachev that NATO wouldn’t move “one inch to the east” — which promise he was planning to violate, and which his successors have been violating).

ISIS is a US-Israeli Creation. Top Ten “Indications”

ISIS is a US-Israeli creation, a fact as clear as the sky is blue. It’s a truth as black and white as the colors on their flag. For many alternative news readers, this may be patently obvious, but this article is written for the large majority of people in the world who still have no idea who is really behind the rise of ISIS. No matter which name they go by – ISIS, ISIL, IS or Daesh – the group has been deliberately engineered by the US and Israel to achieve certain geopolitical goals. They are a religious, fundamentalist, Sunni terrorist organization created to terrorize and overthrow certain secular or Shiite Arab nations such as Syria and Iraq, but they are not just “Islamic”. They may be Muslims, and they may be advocating an Islamic State, but they are very much working towards the goals of Zionism.

The USS Fort Worth, the third Littoral Combat Ship deployed by the U.S. Navy, suffered “extensive damage” during the botched maintenance procedure in January that’s left the crippled vessel sidelined in Singapore ever since, according to the service’s top weapons buyer.

A Navy team has been examining the vessel built by Lockheed Martin Corp. since the January 12 incident, when gears that propel the ship were damaged, Assistant Navy Secretary Sean Stackley said in Washington. An investigation is continuing into the failure that’s thought to have been caused by crew error rather than a design flaw.

The Challenge After ISIS

A major deficiency in America’s history of involvement with armed conflict overseas has been inattention to whatever would follow defeat of the bête noire of the moment. The outstanding example is, of course, the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, with the promoters of that war being irresponsibly negligent in not seriously considering that the aftermath of deposing the Iraqi regime would be anything other than a stable and democratic polity.

Rating the Candidates: Who wants war?

So how do I rank them? Bernie is best choice but unlikely to be on the ballot. I then would have to go with Trump in hopes that I can trust him to pay heed to the whispering of his better angels. That leaves Hillary, who is completely corrupted by interest groups and a reliable establishment warmonger. Or Cruz who comes across as a crazed zealot with little in the way of the Christian virtues that he so often cites. Kasich doesn’t seem to actually stand for anything but maybe he would prove to be a tough talking street guy too timid and insecure to be dangerous. It’s a hard choice, but I think that Hillary is capable of doing more damage than Cruz, who would be reined in somewhat by a Congress that truly hates him. I would go with Bernie, then Trump, then Kasich. I could never vote for Cruz or Hillary under any circumstances. God save America!

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is unfortunate that by the time Americans "vote", the corporate choices have already been made for us.

It's which candidates can do the most good for the corporations which fund them, covertly and overtly, and that is not at all how a functioning democratic republic works.
