Hope – versus Neoliberalism – an Ode to Solidarity

The new apparent Hope – is it what my friend Finian Cunningham says – the first ‘eye blinking’ by Washington facing Russia?

We are so thirsty for hope, hope for another, more just, more equitable world, we see hope in the first ‘blinking of an eye’. Hope is good. Hope is the basis for action. And action must be the consequence of hope – hope that not all is lost. Action to break that impasse of neoliberal all-engulfing greed must be simple. We have become strangers to ourselves. We must return to our roots, recognizing where and why we failed to diagnose the beast. Our awakened, re-kindled sense of consciousness may lead us to what we have lost – our inherent sense of solidarity.

Let’s hope together for that to happen – to happen soon, for the suffering is too great to endure much longer. We, the 99.99 % have it in our power to stop this misery and save our planet.

US media and pro-Israel antics in Congress

The New York Times’ coverage of congressional antics related to the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) legislation has ignored so many critical aspects of the bill that it might be time for the “paper of record” to change its motto from “All the news that’s fit to print” to “All the news we think fits, we print.”

William Kristol: We were right to fight in Iraq

We were right to invade Iraq in 2003 to remove Saddam Hussein, and to complete the job we should have finished in 1991.

Even with the absence of caches of weapons of mass destruction, and the mistakes we made in failing to send enough troops at first and to provide security from the beginning for the Iraqi people, we were right to persevere through several difficult years. We were able to bring the war to a reasonably successful conclusion in 2008.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So according to Kristol, the US killed a lot of people, bombed Iraq into rubble, utterly failed to accomplish the stated goals for the war because the nuclear weapons did not actually exist, leaving Iraq in utter chaos, but it was still a success?

I wonder what Kristol thinks is a failure?

George Soros, NATO, US Color Revolution Machine Behind Unrest in Macedonia

By Brandon Turbeville

With tensions heating up between the United States and Russia over a number of issues - Ukraine, BRICS, sanctions, and NATO encirclement to name a few - the West continues its move in toward Russia's borders. The latest target in the Anglo-American destabilization campaign has now come forward - Macedonia.

In the attempt to destroy the elected government of Macedonia, George Soros, NATO, and the Western Color Revolution apparatus have all come together to ensure that the will of the Macedonian people is denied as is the will of populations in all Western-style democracies.

As informed observers might well suspect, any color revolution taking place in Eastern Europe will involve the heavy hand of George Soros...

Par For the Course - New York Times Coverage Follows Narrative of Israeli State Power

The New York Times ran two very different stories recently related to Israel. An analysis of the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement titled “Campus Debates on Israel Drive a Wedge Between Jews and Minorities,” portrays the nonviolent campaign to hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law as a cause of tensions between ethnic groups. Several days later, the Gray Lady printed “Israel Says Hezbollah Positions Put Lebanese at Risk,” uncritically repeating Israeli propaganda justifying a future violent, illegal invasion that would likely kill thousands of civilians.

Why Are Conspiracy Theories Demonized?

World War 3 will be a guerilla information war, with no division between military and civilian participation. -Marshall McLuhanIn recent years, the mere notion of the conspiracy theory has increasingly been ridiculed by even some of the more liberal mainstream news outlets, but don’t let them fool you: it isn’t always some wackadoodle notion without merit or evidence. The New York Times’ Jerusalem bureau slavishly responds to unfolding Israeli stories as though the computers there are set on robotic control to: “Divert, Divert”.

Time for FIFA to show Israel the red card

The truth must be told from the outset: I hope Israel is suspended from FIFA.

A soccer ban doesn’t kill anyone. A boycott spills no blood. It is a legitimate weapon to establish justice and apply international law. Israel supported and supports boycotts, and encourages them: against Hamas, against Gaza, and, of course, against Iran. It even joined the boycott against South Africa, albeit in spite of itself. Now its turn has come.

ABOUT THOSE U.S. TROOPS WHO DIED IN RAMADI

I can’t help but wonder how the family of Michael A. Monsoor is reacting to ISIS’s recent conquest of Ramadi in Iraq. Monsoor was awarded the Medal of Honor for actions taken during the 2006 Battle of Ramadi, when U.S. forces fought insurgents for control of the city. The medal was awarded posthumously.

Monsoor wasn’t the only U.S. soldier who died in Ramadi. According to the Wikipedia page “Battle of Ramadi (2006),” more than 80 U.S. soldiers were killed and more than 200 were injured.

My hunch is that at least some of the family members of all those dead Americans are thinking to themselves, “Okay, ISIS now controls Ramadi. But at least my loved one died so that Americans can be free.”

Of course, that’s easier than thinking that they died for nothing. But the fact is that they did die for nothing. Just look at Ramadi today for proof. Indeed, just look at Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wars fought overseas are NOT fought "to keep Americans free"; they are fought for control of resources major American corporations wish to claim, and to which they have no moral right whatsoever.
As the lyrics from a new song I have just shipped off to my soloist, state:

"War's never fought for the reasons you're given,
Those in power keep feeding you lies
And the reasons you're made to keep fighting and killing
should come as no big surprise
War's not about freedom, or courage or honor,
or preserving the American way;
It's all about money, control greed and power,
And making those who resist go away....
And making those who resist go away..."

The US government, with its preemptive war against Iraq, caused the situation which gave rise to Isis (IF, in fact, Isis is not a US tool, just as was Al Quaeda, to scare the stuffing out of Americans, and scare them out of thinking.) The corporate presstitutes are bemoaning Iraq's coming complete demise, if the US doesn't go in a 3rd time, militarily.

Folks, just say no, peacefully, to this government on a third invasion of Iraq; they cannot get anything straight, and will most likely botch things up more than they already are botched in this country. It is your children who will fight, get maimed for life, or die, in the name of corporate profits.

And no kid should get maimed or die for that; EVER!!

David Brooks’ sickening Iraq apologia: How the New York Times hack just rewrote history

New York Times columnist David Brooks was once an enthusiastic backer of George W. Bush’s disastrous invasion of Iraq. He’d write columns for the Weekly Standard – the official journal of bankrupt neoconservative thought – glorifying Bush for his steely-eyed determination and tartly mocking the pansy liberals and other anti-war types who opposed Bush’s righteous exercise in nation-building and freedom-spreading. “History will allow clear judgments about which leaders and which institutions were up to the challenge posed by Saddam,” Brooks prophesied in the March 2003 column, “and which were not.”

CANCER CHARITIES BILKED DONORS FOR $187 MIL, SPENT IT ON LUXURY FOR CHARITY OPERATORS, THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS

Government regulators have cracked down on four cancer charities, accusing the Cancer Fund of America, Cancer Support Services, the Children's Cancer Fund of America, and the Breast Cancer Society of cheating donors out of $187 million.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), all 50 states, and the District of Columbia claim that the four foundations fraudulently told donors their money would help cancer patients. Instead, money from the donations overwhelmingly went into the pockets of charity operators, their families and friends, and professional fundraisers.

According to the complaint filed by authorities, the charities “operated as personal fiefdoms characterized by rampant nepotism, flagrant conflicts of interest, and excessive insider compensation, with none of the financial and governance controls that any bona fide charity would have adopted.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

When you are going to contribute to any charity, please do the due diligence.

There are two feeding ministries, supported by my local Methodist church, and the local Catholic church, that Mike and I support, because we see precisely where the food and money goes. But these days, one cannot be too careful, when appearance and substance of where your charity money goes may well be two different things entirely.

EVEN MORE ADMITTED FALSE FLAG TERROR INCIDENTS COME TO LIGHT

Presidents, Prime Ministers, Congressmen, Generals, Spooks, Soldiers and Police ADMIT to False Flag Terror

Every time we look, we find new admissions of false flag terror attacks. In the following instances, officials in the government which carried out the attack (or seriously proposed an attack) admit to it, either orally, in writing, or through photographs or videos:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Governments consistently lie to their people about realities on the ground, in order to further their geopolitical agendas, no matter how much pain and suffering those agendas will create.

I therefore cannot believe ANYTHING the US government says, ever again; should President Obama knock on my door here in Hawaii, and tell me the sun was shining, I would be morally obligated to walk outside and see for myself.

I’VE READ OBAMA’S SECRET TRADE DEAL. ELIZABETH WARREN IS RIGHT TO BE CONCERNED

You need to tell me what’s wrong with this trade agreement, not one that was passed 25 years ago,” a frustrated President Barack Obama recently complained about criticisms of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). He’s right. The public criticisms of the TPP have been vague. That’s by design—anyone who has read the text of the agreement could be jailed for disclosing its contents. I’ve actually read the TPP text provided to the government’s own advisors, and I’ve given the president an earful about how this trade deal will damage this nation. But I can’t share my criticisms with you.

I can tell you that Elizabeth Warren is right about her criticism of the trade deal. We should be very concerned about what’s hidden in this trade deal—and particularly how the Obama administration is keeping information secret even from those of us who are supposed to provide advice.

Webmaster's Commentary:

From what I have been able to gather, should this be passed, corporations will have complete control over all aspects of American life, superseding American Law, the Constitution, and Bill of Rights, and We the People will be utterly helpless to change that.

At the point of this legislation's passage, corporations will officially own the government of the United States of America, which they already covertly do; but when this passes, it will be an in-your-face, "Shut up and don't try to change this" attitude which will bring this country into a period of absolute Medieval serfdom.

The Nation magazine’s shameful history of aiding ethnic cleansing in Palestine

In 2005, Palestinian civil society implored people of conscience around the world to stand up for justice by honoring its call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel. A decade later certain segments of the US left are still debating whether this Palestinian request for solidarity is a worthy enough cause.

The Nation magazine, a bastion of progressive journalism, has been at the forefront of indecision on this issue, regularly hosting debates on whether the indigenous non-Jewish inhabitants of historic Palestine merit equal rights in their native land.

New York Post Reports – ABC Signed a $105 Million Contract with George Stephanopoulos Last Year

If the New York Post report is true, ABC News made a monumental financial blunder last year when it signed a $105 million contract to keep George Stephanopoulos as the face of its “news” network.

As I outlined in last week’s post, First Brian Williams, Now George Stephanopoulos Has Lost All Credibility in Latest Mainstream Media Scandal, due to his undisclosed donations to the Clinton Foundation, Mr. Stephanopoulos is now unable to report with any credibility on Hillary Clinton. If he isn’t capable of reporting on Hillary, then he isn’t able of reporting on any aspect of the 2016 Presidential election. So why would he be worth five dollars, let alone $105 million?

Many of the NSA’s Loudest Defenders Have Financial Ties to NSA Contractors

As one example of the opaque link between NSA money and punditry, take the words of Stewart Baker, who was general counsel to the NSA from 1992 through 1994. During a Senate committee hearing last summer on one of the reform bills now before Congress, the USA FREEDOM Act, which would partially limit mass surveillance of telephone metadata, Baker essentially said the bill would aid terrorists.

“First, I do not believe we should end the bulk collection program,” he told the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. “It will put us at risk. It will, as Senator King strongly suggested, slow our responses to serious terrorist incidents. And it is a leap into the dark with respect to this data.”

Brian Anse Patrick - The Ten Commandments of Propaganda

Dr. Brian Anse Patrick is a professor of communication at the University of Toledo. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods, group communication, propaganda and persuasion. He is also a nationally recognized expert on American gun culture as well as the author of many scholarly papers and five books, including The Ten Commandments of Propaganda. In this discussion, we start by looking at the definition of propaganda and where it all began. Brian explains the creation of the Committee on Public Information and its role in persuading American public opinion during World War I, an implementation that would shift other propaganda campaigns into full gear. We consider emotion as an element of propaganda, how human behavior is altered through group interaction, and the need for belonging and an explanation of a higher order that motivates people to buy into marketing schemes.

Losing the American Republic

Decades of letting neocons dictate a hawkish foreign policy have put the American Republic in profound danger, just as presidents from George Washington to Dwight Eisenhower predicted, warnings that Americans must finally take to heart...

We may lament our poverty of leadership, but there are ways to make it function. “Princes,” since long before Machiavelli have always used advisers; some even listened to them. Surely the capable people among us — like the “wise men” who whispered in the ears of those earlier leaders — can guide today’s leaders toward more viable policies and away from the chaos that engulfs us.

New documentaries probe elaborate cons behind the war on terror ‘mirage’

Before the screening of War of Lies, the film’s German director, Matthias Bittner, was called to the stage and introduced. He said very little, mainly cryptically that “in Germany this film will never be broadcast in a festival – even a student festival – or in a cinema.”

Someone in the audience asked: “Why?”

Bittner didn’t answer. Instead, he shrugged his shoulders and quickly left the stage, pointedly looking at the audience, as if to say: “You decide – after you see the film.”

What the audience saw is that War of Lies exposes, from the inside, that the war on Iraq was based on lies, and that the German security forces were instrumentally involved. From this the audience could infer that this politically embarrassing fact is the reason the German establishment will do all it can to squelch the film.

Obama Gave Up on Ukraine - Press Simply Ignored It

On Tuesday, May 12, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry was asked at a press conference in Sochi Russia, to respond to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s recent statements promising renewed war against Donbass, which were made first on April 30, “The war will end when Ukraine regains Donbass and Crimea,” and which were repeated on May 11th, by his saying, “I have no doubt, we will free the [Donetsk] Airport, because it is our land.” In other words, Poroshenko had repeatedly made clear that he plans a third invasion of Donbass, and, ultimately, also to invade and retake Crimea. After staring Russia in the face for the best part of a year, the poker-faced Americans finally realized they are holding a bunch of worthless cards. And the Americans blinked.

Then the week ended with Kerry’s deputy at the State Department, Victoria Nuland, flying to Moscow to meet Russian officials to discuss implementation of the Minsk ceasefire in Ukraine.

TLC's Submissive Wives' Guide to Marriage will be the best show ever

"Enter the rarely explored world of submissive wives, where fulfilling one’s husband’s every need is a part of everyday life, with the belief that it only serves to strengthen the marriage. For these women, allowing their husbands to be leaders of the household proves their own trust in them and in God. The hour long special Submissive Wives’ Guide To Marriage chronicles the lives of three married couples, two living in a submissive marriage, and one looking to adapt to this lifestyle to save their marriage."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Claire saw this show and thought it was great. I missed it, and from the title was initially put off. While I have long ago severed any support for feminism following the constant male-bashing always-cry-rape, I see marriage as a partnership. However on reading the reviews of this show (and I will catch the repeat) I have come to understand that the show did not encourage all wives to be submissive, but showcased women who chose a 1950s style marital model and liked it.

I am okay with their making that choice if that is what works. One of my pet peeves with 90s feminism isn't that they wanted women to have a choice to have a career instead of being a house wife, but that all women should want a career, want to leave the house, (in extreme cases, want to be lesbians), and looked on women who wanted to stay home with their children as clearly inferior.

In hindsight, the hijacked latter day gender-feminism (as opposed to the earlier equity-feminism, which we could all agree with) took away one enforced role model for women only to replace it with another. In practical terms, gender-feminism doubled the work force, which doubled the government's taxing opportunities, and made men disposable to send off to wars. In hindsight, it was a repeat of the "Rosie the Riveter" propaganda of WW2.

In the end, it comes down to choice. For women who choose to have a career, go for it! But the same should apply to women who want to be stay-at-home mothers. And I note that the feminists have slammed this show, and are all over social media claiming that women who want to stay at home and raise their children are (direct quote) "worthless leaches."

No, they aren't. Such women contribute to the world in a way the feminists do not approve of, and that is what the feminists are upset about; losing control. No longer being seen as the trend setters.

From an economics point of view, a reversal of the feminist trend makes sense. With jobs in such short supply, a return to the single-job household makes a great deal of sense.

Auschwitz is “hell on Earth,” said RT’s Paula Slier after spending a night at the former Nazi concentration camp where scores of Jews were killed during WWII. The trip was a part of Slier’s documentary, in which she traces her relatives' Holocaust horror.

“It was extremely evocative. Auschwitz [Nazi concentration camp built in occupied Poland] is hell on Earth. And when you go to hell at night and you have the watchtowers and the barbed wire casting their shadows, and almost following you around everywhere, it’s almost terrifying if you like,” Slier said in an interview to RT.

America’s war of words with Russia is no laughing matter

The positive message that the West once offered to Russia during the waning days of the Cold War - democracy, freedom, respect for human dignity - has been replaced by a starkly negative message that encourages confrontation rather than engagement. Instead of telling Russians how great things are in America, the new strategy seems to be telling Russians how terrible things are in their own country. In the lexicon of political campaigns, America is going negative.

The Times supports Israel’s worst crimes – wrongfully blaming them on victims. It outrageously calls Hamas a terrorist organization.

It long ago expressed willingness to sacrifice 78% of historic Palestine in return for remaining land within June 1967 borders – with East Jerusalem its exclusive capital.

Is Washington Coming To Its Senses? — Paul Craig Roberts

There is much speculation about US Secretary of State John Kerry’s rush visit to Russia in the wake of Russia’s successful Victory Day celebration on May 9. On May 11, Kerry, who was snubbing Russia on the 9th, was on his way to Russia, and Putin consented to see him on May 12.

As time passes we will find out why Kerry was snubbing Putin on May 9 and 3 days later was criticizing Washington’s puppet regime in Ukraine. For what is known at this time, a possible explanation is that Washington is coming to its senses.

Pentagon Paid Sports Franchises to Salute Troops and “Conjure Up Feelings of Patriotism and Pride”

Stadium salutes to soldiers were paid promos for the military machine:

The Pentagon would have to justify the military necessity of spending millions on sports sponsorships under a measure approved Thursday by the Senate.

[…]

“giving taxpayer funds to professional sports teams for activities that are portrayed to the public as paying homage to U.S. military personnel would seem inappropriate.

“Such promotions conjure up feelings of patriotism and pride for most sports fans, and the revelation that these are in fact paid arrangements is disappointing.”

Of all the lame-brained, lumpen-brained, hare-brained schemes emanating from Aipac’s lobby shop, this is one of the truly lamest. Fox News Correspondent Calls Amtrak Engineer’s Sexuality “A Factor” In Deadly Crash

Bostian is a gay man—cited by some outlets as a “gay activist” because he was active in the fight against California’s Proposition 8. In 2012, he told The Midtown Gazette: “It’s kind of insulting to have to beg people for my right to marry. I feel like we shouldn’t even have to have this fight.”

His sexuality hasn’t been reported on by major media organizations because it’s completely irrelevant.

But it is oddly “interesting” to anti-gay bigots, who’ve been inferring Bostian’s sexuality somehow “caused” the horrific derailment.

Right Wing Watch notes a few extremists linking the two, none as awful as Sandy Rios, the governmental affairs director of the hate group American Family Association and regular Fox News contributor. Today on her AFA radio program, she cited Bostian’s sexuality as “a factor” in the crash.

New York Times sells Israel’s next war

How hard is it for the Israeli military to launch an unprovoked war with its neighbor by casting itself as a victim of barbarianism, rallying international support and even apologizing in advance and exonerating itself for killing innocent civilians? It seems it only takes one phone call to the New York Times.

That’s right, the world’s most powerful newspaper has just published an article wholly inspired and almost entirely narrated by the unverifiable and belligerent claims of Israeli military sources. The article “Israel Says Hezbollah Positions Put Civilians at Risk” casts no serious journalistic or responsible doubt on these Israeli claims made by a military institution that has engaged in wars that have killed tens of thousands of civilians in the past.

The author, Isabel Kershner warns that Israel says “…many Lebanese civilians will probably be killed, and that it should not be considered Israel’s fault.”

First Brian Williams, Now George Stephanopoulos Has Lost All Credibility in Latest Mainstream Media Scandal

After numerous attempts at portraying Assad as guilty of having committed atrocities against innocent civilians, using chemical weapons, and dropping barrel bombs, the media has since taken to narratives portraying the Syrian president as losing his grip on the Syrian government as well as suffering huge territorial losses...

Seymour Hersh Succumbs To Disinformation — Paul Craig Roberts

Seymour Hersh has published a long account of the homicide of Osama bin Laden:
http://www.lrb.co.uk/v37/n10/seymour-m-hersh/the-killing-of-osama-bin-...
Hersh concludes that the Obama regime’s account of the killing of bin Laden is a total fabrication except for the fact that bin Laden was killed.

I do not believe Hersh’s story for three reasons. One reason is that bin Laden was suffering from disease that no one can survive for a decade. His death was widely reported in 2001. One reason is that even Hersh’s “true” account of “what really happened” is contradicted by eye witnesses and the initial Pakistani TV interviews of eye witnesses. One reason is that Hersh’s story is too convoluted for an assassination raid, a routine event. He exposes lies within lies, indecision within decision, payoffs within payoffs, and reports such a huge number of people with advance knowledge of the raid that it cannot possibly have been kept a secret.

In Stunning U-Turn, NBC Retracts Story That Obama Lied About bin Laden

It would appear someone at NBC News got a rather large tap on the shoulder. In what is a stunning reversal of their confirmation that President Obama lied and lying about the killing of bin Laden, NBC News has updated their original story - that "two intelligence sources tell NBC News that the year before the U.S. raid that killed Osama bin Laden, a 'walk in' asset from Pakistani intelligence told the CIA where the most wanted man in the world was hiding" - to this - "Sources say that while the asset provided information vital to the hunt for bin Laden, he was not the source of his whereabouts." As Slate concludes, while NBC’s story doesn’t use the word correction or retraction, that’s what this appears to be.

The chemical industry’s powerful trade group, the American Chemistry Council, has long maintained that it had nothing to do with an enormously successful but deceitful lobbying effort in state capitals to defend the use of potentially ineffective and toxic flame retardants in furniture.

Now, in a rare breaking of ranks, a top industry consultant is discrediting that story—and in so doing providing a window into the shadowy world of corporate advocacy and its use of front groups that aren’t what they appear.

After a Chicago Tribune investigation in 2012 exposed Citizens for Fire Safety as an industry group masquerading as a coalition of firefighters, educators, community activists, doctors and others, the chemistry council disavowed any affiliation with or support for the group.

Upon his release on bail on May 7, Canadian neocons began screeching from the hilltops about the ‘travesty’ of temporarily freeing a ‘convicted terrorist.’ Meanwhile, the neo-liberal crypto-militarists who occupy Canada’s mainstream media engaged in stereotypical faux debates consisting of highly constrained babble about the ‘rights and wrongs’ of the treatment of Khadr by the Canadian and American governments.

The issue is never framed properly and is in fact intentionally obfuscated.

CRIMINOLOGIST LIKENS BILL AND HILLARY TO “ORDINARY CRIMINALS”

Only one Clinton is running for president, but they are to an almost indescribable extent inseparable. Although Hillary is projecting her own personage and politics in her campaign rhetoric, the two are nevertheless so utterly conjoined in people’s eyes that it is virtually impossible for the good and bad actions of one not to reflect well or not well on the other. We know they are in cahoots. Their moral identity management operations must, therefore, concentrate on the Clinton brand as a whole.

BBC WANTS GOOGLE TO REMOVE TOP GEAR’S IMDB PAGE

This week BBC Worldwide reported a record number of infringing links to Google, targeting more than 25,000 webpages. We decided to go through the links and it wasn’t hard to find several URLs that are clearly not infringing.

For example, one of the notices targets the IMDb pages of Top Gear, The Game and Top Fails.

The Internet Movie Database is one of the prime sources for movie and TV fans to get information and doesn’t host or link to infringing content, so taking these pages offline only hurts the BBC.

Perhaps even more worrying is that the same notice also lists the British home of the video site Dailymotion as “infringing.” While this page may have linked to unauthorized material in the past, it’s certainly doesn’t warrant the removal of the entire homepage.

Why, of all the controversial subjects she has handled over the years, are they going after her for a show on vaccines? This is outrageous as we have a couple of terrible bills that people should be educated about especially now before they become law.

Please call the station to complain about this censorship and demand they air it.

Thank you!

Natalie Portman: I'm very much against Netanyahu

The 33-year-old actress, who was born in Jerusalem as Natalie Hershlag, said: "I'm very much against Netanyahu. Against. I am very, very upset and disappointed that he was re-elected. I find his racist comments horrific.

"However, I don't — what I want to make sure is, I don't want to use my platform (the wrong way). I feel like there's some people who become prominent, and then it's out in the foreign press. You know, shit on Israel. I do not. I don't want to do that."

WNW 189 Yellen Warns of Danger, Economy Diving While MSM Lying, Middle East Boils

The ridiculous drum beat from the mainstream media (MSM) has been repeating this so called “recovery” since the 2008 meltdown. I also keep repeating that there is no real recovery. There are a variety of data points you can look at, but the most recent include retail sales and factory orders have plunged while the trade deficit has spiked. It was announced that nearly 50 companies are closing 6,000 stores. The oil industry is shedding thousands of jobs, and 62% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. You think I am being too negative? Maybe someone should also tell Fed Head Janet Yellen to tone it down as well. This past week, she sounded the alarm on “quite high” stock prices and warned of “potential danger” in the bond market. Still, you get headlines like this one saying “Fear Not. This May-October Looks Better Than Others.” This is not only wishful thinking, but it is bad reporting to ignore major data points that say the economy is tanking and not recovering.

More Neocon-Zionist Theater in Texas

Gellar’s ‘Draw the Prophet’ charade was the perfect bait for any would-be radical trying to make a name for himself, yet they allowed the provocation to proceed under the pretext of ‘upholding the first amendment.’

As the Garland police spokesman confessed, this had all been pre-planned months beforehand. Only the very naïve or hopelessly deluded will put any faith in the FBI’s lame-duck denials that they deliberately allow attacks of these sorts to take place, or organize them directly by way of informants, such as the one linked to Simpson.

Why Joni Mitchell fears she's being eaten alive by bugs from outer space

In 2010, Mitchell, pictured, claimed she had been suffering from Morgellons, a rare condition which some doctors claim is delusional, where patients claim they are invested by disease-causing fibres and parasites

‘Fibres in a variety of colours protrude out of my skin like mushrooms after a rainstorm ... they cannot be forensically identified as animal, vegetable or mineral.'
