Careful With Those Anti-Corruption Tweets: Twitter Launches Orwellian “Council” to Curb Dissent

By Claire Bernish

Twitter announced it will be joining in the pro-censorship campaigns currently sweeping social media under the familiar guise defenders of liberty and free speech love to hate: terrorism.

Twitter’s version of the Thought Police, however, sounds somehow even more Orwellian than the original: The Trust & Safety Council — which will, unsurprisingly, “work to develop policies censoring speech on the site,” as the Washington Examiner described...

The Urgency of Opposing a Hillary Clinton Presidency

Among an array of deplorable aspirants, she stands out as the most dangerous and loathsome, an anti-populist Wall Street tool, a war profiteer’s dream, shamelessly indifferent to human suffering, a ruthless rogue actor, a menace threatening world peace.

Ignore her gender and calls for finally electing a woman US president. Look at the enormous harm the first Black one caused at home and abroad, Muslims and people of color most affected.

Obama achieved the impossible - exceeding the worst of George Bush, waging endless wars, bombing seven countries in seven years, ignoring popular needs, force-feeding austerity irresponsibly, orchestrating the greatest wealth transfer to privileged interests in US history, enforcing police state harshness on nonbelievers.

If elected president, expect Clinton’s agenda to continue Obama’s on steroids. Her deplorable record in public office as a US senator and secretary of state reveals her dark side, pure evil by any standard.

Hillary Clinton, liar extraordinaire

If there are two things that Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton is really good at, it is raising money and, in equal measure, lying. Being so adept at both makes her the quintessential political candidate of the 21st Century.

WHILE THE CHILDREN IN FLINT WERE GIVEN POISONED WATER TO DRINK, GENERAL MOTORS WAS GIVEN A SPECIAL HOOKUP TO THE CLEAN WATER

News of the poisoned water crisis in Flint has reached a wide audience around the world. The basics are now known: The Republican governor, Rick Snyder, nullified the free elections in Flint, deposed the mayor and city council, then appointed his own man to run the city. To save money, they decided to unhook the people of Flint from their fresh water drinking source, Lake Huron, and instead, make the public drink from the toxic Flint River.

MPs pay to rise AGAIN as expenses watchdog signs off an increase worth a third more than the UK average

MPs will see their pay rise again this year - just months after they saw a massive 10 per cent hike after last year's General Election.

They will receive a £962 boost in salary - a rise of 1.3 per cent - costing the taxpayer more than half a million pounds.

The latest wage hike comes despite George Osborne imposing a 1 per cent pay freeze on all other public sector workers until 2020.

Sloppy Language and Thinking

George Orwell said, “But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.” Gore Vidal elaborated on that insight, saying, “As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate.” And John Milton predicted, “When language in common use in any country becomes irregular and depraved, it is followed by their ruin and degradation.” These observations bear heeding about how sloppy language is corrupting our society. -- Before we invest resources into worrying about such matters, we might focus on language corruption, because it is polluting our thinking, resulting in inept and dangerous social policies.

COP NEVER FIRED AFTER 2 FITS OF ROAD RAGE – ON THE 3RD FIT, HE SHOT A LADY IN THE HEAD FOR HONKING

It was recently revealed in court documents that a former police officer who shot a woman in the head during a road rage incident has a history marred with violence and anger issues. Kenneth Caplan, a reserve deputy constable with Harris County Precinct 6, was charged last year with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after shooting a woman in the head during a fit of road rage.

Banning Cash: Serfdom in Our Time

Negative interest rates mean that your bank account shrinks day by day, automatically. Your $1000 in January becomes $950 by December. And where does that money go? To the banks, of course, and to the government. They syphon your money away, drip by drip, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

More PC Insanity: College Students Banned from Using "Mom" or "Dad" Because It's Not "Inclusive" Enough

In a world where governments are blowing up children with drones and calling them collateral damage in phony terror wars on a daily basis, social engineering has turned average people into walking arguments that the film Idiocracy was actually a documentary, busily wasting their time fretting over how offensive otherwise innocuous words are.

Human beings are mammals. A female mammal who has children has traditionally been called a “mother” or “mom,” to separate this mammal linguistically from the male version, who has traditionally been called a “dad” or “father”.

Well, not anymore in one Florida college classroom where a professor has decided that language is offensive because it isn’t “inclusive” enough.

Liberty Activists And ISIS Will Soon Be Treated As Identical Threats

By Brandon Smith

Many of us saw it coming a long time ago — increasing confrontation between liberty proponents and the corrupt federal establishment leading to increasing calls by political elites and bureaucrats to apply to American citizens the terrorism countermeasures designed for foreign combatants. It was only a matter of time and timing.

My stance has always been that the elites would wait until there was ample social and political distraction; a fog of fear allowing them to move more aggressively against anti-globalists. We are not quite there yet, but the ground is clearly being prepared...

Suicide Epidemic: Why Does The Number Of People Killing Themselves Just Keep Going Up?

Did you know that more Americans now die from suicide than are killed in car crashes each year? According to the CDC, there has been a substantial spike in suicide deaths in the United States in recent years. Today, approximately 9.3 million Americans admit to having suicidal thoughts, and approximately 2.7 million Americans each year actually make a plan for how they would commit suicide. We are a deeply, deeply unhappy nation, but of course this phenomenon is not just limited to America. According to the World Health Organization, suicide is now the third highest cause of death in the entire world. Globally, suicide rates have soared by 60 percent over the past 45 years, and the WHO is now projecting that by the year 2020 someone will be committing suicide somewhere in the world every 20 seconds.

“Investors Have Completely Lost Faith In Deutsche Bank” A Top 10 Shareholder Admits

After a day of “rock solid” Lehman-isms, emergency bond buyback plans, and a stock price still unable to close green, Deutsche Bank is on the ropes (despite CNBC proclaiming that “it doesn’t feel like a Lehman moment.”) However, as dawn breaks across the motherland, something more insidious is breaking for Germany’s largest bank. Deutsche faces an uphill task rescuing its stock from record lows, especially, as Reuters reports, a top 10 shareholder exclaims “investors have completely lost faith in the bank,” and a fast recovery from this crisis was unlikely.

Assault with a deadly weapon: Florida man charged with throwing alligator into Wendy’s

It takes a Captive Wildlife Permit to legally possess an alligator in the State of Florida. So begs the question, if you have a CWP and CCW, can you legally carry an alligator concealed for defensive purposes? What would be the best way to carry a concealed alligator? I for one would want some sort of strap around its mouth, removed with a thumb break to prevent accidental (discharge) mastication.

Trump, Sanders, and Kasich Do Well. Thanks a Lot, New Hampshire.

NATIONAL REVIEW: Could this night have gone worse for Donald Trump’s foes? Sure, he could have won with 90 percent or something. But this was about as bad a result as they could reasonably fear, and about as good a result as Trump and his fans could want.

Trump’s first-place finish was easy to predict, and in line with most of the polling. In fact, the traditional New Hampshire polling surprise this year was… that the actual results didn’t offer much of a surprise. It always looked like a tightly-packed crowd of candidates from second to sixth place, and the order of finish was pretty ideal for Trump. It’s him against the crowd, and his chunk of the base – even if it’s just a new generation of Pat Buchanan’s share of the vote – will always outpace his rivals, as long as there’s a bunch of them.

local zoning boards have become increasingly tyrannical in the way they do business, moving from protecting neighborhoods from shady builders, to trying to reshape them into their image of what America should look like. Victory for Trump! The Donald wins in New Hampshire with a third of the vote in early counting - as Kasich takes second place

Donald Trump, who put his gold-medal hopes on hold a week ago, claimed the top prize in the New Hampshire Republican primary on Tuesday as he defeated a gaggle of establishment politicians and the outsider senator who bested him in Iowa.

With about 22 per cent of the votes counted in the Granite State, Trump led the field at 34 per cent of the total vote in an election that poll-watchers expected would set a new record for voter participation.

The margin of victory, if it holds, will be stunning even in the face of late polls that had the billionaire real estate developer ahead by double digits.

John Kasich, the Ohio governor who made a late surge on the strength of a longstanding in-state organization, was sitting in second place at 16 per cent.

It’s Clinton Déjà Vu — New Hampshire Brings Snow and Rumors of Campaign Implosion

So, I was driving along somewhere in New Hampshire on Monday, the day before the storied primary. It was snowing, just as the clichés of the New Hampshire Primary dictate: It is always snowing in New Hampshire. (Really, though, it actually was snowing).

The email came in from an editor in New York at around 4 p.m. Subject line: “Hillaryworld.” Body content: “What do you make of the supposed looming implosion?”

What supposed looming implosion? Or, to be more precise, which supposed looming implosion? Isn’t Hillaryworld always on the verge of one?

Yes, but they do have a tendency to occur at this precise moment. Periods of intense hand-wringing and recrimination always occur in Clintonworld around the New Hampshire primaries, if history is any guide — and what is Clinton history, if not utterly repetitive?

Oh Oh...

There's a clean question on the table regarding dual citizenship for persons born in Canada prior to 1977 (when they changed their law to officially recognize dual nationality.)

Prior to that date, with few exceptions, you could not hold dual nationality with Canada. In other words the very act of "renouncing" Canadian Citizenship means that Cruz never held US citizenship at birth because his parents had to declare his nationality at the time he was born.

There may be exceptions that were available at the time but the law now is immaterial.

The only material fact is what the law was then, in 1970, in Canada when Cruz was born.

If his parents declared US for him then he had nothing to renounce and he has a document called a Consular Report of Birth Abroad.

Ron Paul: This Will Be a Disaster For Personal Liberty…

Even if mandatory health screening could be implementing without increasing costs or threatening liberty it would still be a bad idea. Government health care mandates undermine the basic principles of a free society. If it is legitimate for government to tell us what types of health care we must receive, then it is also legitimate for the government to tell us what to eat, when to exercise, and even how to raise our children. To paraphrase C.S. Lewis, a tyranny imposed for our own good is the worst form of tyranny because it is a tyranny without limits. All who love liberty must therefore oppose mandatory depression screening, or any other health care mandate.

If you've ever wondered how Forbes Inc., which owns Forbes.com and Forbes magazine, ended up as the corporate publishing arm of Monsanto and the chemical industry, look no further than the entity's origins.

A complete history of how Forbes was founded, and more importantly why it was founded, is available at TruthWiki.org. And one important fact you need to know is that Forbes has always been a capitalism-at-all-costs propaganda outlet.

Careening to the Finish in New Hampshire

There’s a quirk in New Hampshire’s primary process that could prove important. Voters who aren’t registered with either party—about 40 percent of the state’s electorate—can choose which race they want to vote in. Twenty-three percent of voters in New Hampshire had not made up their mind on whether they’ll cast their votes in the Democratic or Republican primaries, according to a WBUR poll taken from February 2-4.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich won the most Republican votes in Dixville Notch early Tuesday morning, while Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders won all the Democratic votes.

Bush calls for race ‘reset’ in N.H. primary

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, who has staked his flagging presidential bid on a strong performance in this first-in-the-nation primary state, called Monday for New Hampshire voters to “reset” the race.

“The reset has started as of tonight,” Bush said, adding, “Next Tuesday, we’re going to surprise the world.”

The Meaning Behind the Sanders Surge

Sen. Bernie Sanders’s candidacy raises the question of whether there can be a better system than free-market capitalism – with its bloated income inequality and its hollowed-out middle class – while Hillary Clinton’s message is that the system needs only minor reforms at the edges, said economist Richard Wolff.

Primaries and Caucuses Take a Backseat to Party Insiders

Now that the Iowa Caucus is in the record books, contrary to Trump’s demand for a redo, the respected party brokers are eager to weed out the hanger-on’s. Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul and Martin O'Malley are gone. The GOP Party, started in 1854, is circling the wagons behind their establishment pick, Marco Rubio and the Democratic National Committee, founded in 1848, will do everything necessary to see that Hillary Clinton gets her chance to steal their selection. All of this chicanery is being practiced by two private political power hungry organizations. Proprietary rules and internal arbitration is the hallmark of party control and discipline, which ensures that the final outcome goes as the money interests deem.

Let us eat cake! Michigan’s Snyder throws lavish birthday party in midst of Flint water crisis

Just weeks after Michigan’s governor issued an apology for the state’s handling of the Flint water crisis and petitioned the Obama administration to declare a state of emergency, he reportedly threw a secret, lavish party for his wife.

The birthday celebration that Governor Rick Snyder threw for his wife Sue at an upscale restaurant in Ann Arbor was first reported by Ann Arbor blogger Mark Maynard. When Maynard went to investigate the party, he discovered the windows at the restaurant had been “blacked out” and a security detail outside, apparently not knowing that the event had been organized by governor.

Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders hope to emerge from New Hampshire's primary Tuesday with their first wins of the 2016 presidential election, victories that would boost their standing in a highly competitive race.

HuffPost: Trump Will Lose in New Hampshire

Trump could actually lose the popular vote. In a year of living flippantly, polling is relatively worthless. In New Hampshire, this has always been true to a large degree but this year the fickleness of the electorate could upset the apple cart entirely. I predict the larger the turnout the more precarious Trump's position. He can and most likely will portray his best Charlie Sheen "winning" smile no matter what the result, but make no mistake about it he is sinking like a rock.

ARIZONA CONSIDERING BILL TO BAN 'FREE SPEECH ZONES' ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES

College students in Arizona may soon be free to express their opinions anywhere on campus without prior permission if the State Legislature passes a bill banning free speech zones. HB 2615, introduced Monday by State Rep. Anthony Kern, would prohibit all community colleges and universities in the state from designating any area of campus as a free speech zone, and would further require that any such zones that already exist “shall be converted to a monument or memorial.”

Jeb Hopes to Woo Voters With Ad Featuring Worst President in US History

The former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is hoping to jump-start his lagging Presidential campaign with a new television ad featuring the worst President in U.S. history, campaign aides confirm.

With the crucial New Hampshire primary just hours away, the Bush campaign believes it can finish strong by reminding voters of Jeb’s connection to a man who left the nation in smoldering ruins.

Actual Big Pharma CEO email: 'We raised the price from $1,700 per bottle to $75,000. Should be a very handsome investment for all of us'

Concerning documents that have recently come to light reveal drug firm schemes to maximize profits on medicine that is used to treat cancer, AIDS and heart conditions. A congressional review of more than 300,000 pages from Turing Pharmaceuticals and Valeant Pharmaceuticals reveals how executives planned to maximize profits while fending off negative publicity over the price hikes.

THE CLINTON BODY-COUNT

NEW! Updated for Hillary's 2016 run!

My thanks to everyone who took the time to write and suggest corrections. Many changes have been made to this list based on the info sent in and more will be added in the very near future.

In compiling this list I have tried to find as much photographic evidence as I can, but surprisingly (or maybe not so surprisingly) these people in many cases seem to have been erased from the internet!

The following is a partial list of a large number of persons who have recently met their demise in suspicious circumstances who appear to have some connection to the Clintons. I stress partial because new additions are coming in faster than closets can be found to hide the bodies in!

FLASHBACK - Ted Cruz is not eligible to be President of the United States; The meaning of "Natural Born."

Ted Cruz's supporters try to get around "Natural Born" by claiming it simply means any US citizen, an opinion even echoed at Wikipedia!

But if any US citizen could be President, then the qualifier "Natural Born" would not be needed (and is not present in the Constitutional citizenship requirements for Representatives and Senators). Clearly, to the Founding Fathers, "Natural Born" had a specific and obvious meaning, applied exclusively to the Presidency!

The Founding Fathers did not need to define what "Natural Born" meant inside the Constitution as it had been defined in existing legal theory in works such as "The Law of Nations" by Emerich de Vattel, published in 1758 and relied on heavily by the framers of the Constitution. "Natural Born" was already legally defined when the Constitution was written as "born inside the nation."

REPORT: GOV’T GRANTED $750 MILLION OBAMACARE FUNDS TO HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

The government’s Obamacare program gave up $750 million in taxpayer subsidies to illegal immigrants and individuals without verified immigration status, says a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee reportobtained by Fox News. “The Administration awarded approximately $750 million in tax credits on behalf of individuals who were later determined to be ineligible because they failed to verify their citizenship, status as a national, or legal presence,” by July 2015, according to Fox News.

Hillary Clinton Just Got The Worst News Possible Before The New Hampshire Primary!

I am actually starting to believe that this may lead to an indictment. I hope that FBI Director Comey stands up to the bureaucracy in this administration. It would restore a lot of the trust that is missing in America..

The FBI has finally confirmed what has been suspected by most people for many months now – there is a formal, federal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

Hillary Clinton sides with Big Pharma, against marijuana

Well, once again, as in 2008, the Iowa Caucus was not the coronation that she and her supporters thought it was going to be.

Nominal Democrat presidential "frontrunner" Hillary Clinton barely made it out of the nation's first caucus as the technical victor (though the campaign her main opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., has contested those results), leaving many to wonder if she's got the mojo in 2016 that she lacked in 2008 when she was younger and less scandal-plagued in her loss to a relatively unknown U.S. senator from Illinois.

FLASHBACK 1998 - UK: 'Serpico' claims Scotland Yard elite ran drug cartel

DRUG rackets worth millions of pounds were run from inside Britain's biggest police force, according to a former Scotland Yard detective who is to publish his allegations.

The officer, dubbed "Serpico" by friends after the New York police officer who was pilloried for exposing corruption, described sections of the drug squad and the regional crime squad at Scotland Yard as the "most professional criminal cartels in Britain". He is writing a book in which he alleges that officers stole drugs, paid phantom informants and fabricated evidence.

Duncan MacLaughlin, a detective for 18 years, is believed to be the first officer to talk openly about alleged corruption within the elite squads in which he worked.
