We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Free Speech

In so doing, we have adopted the lexicon of Newspeak, the official language of George Orwell’s fictional Oceania, which was “designed not to extend but to diminish the range of thought.” As Orwell explained in 1984, “The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of IngSoc [the state ideology of Oceania], but to make all other modes of thought impossible.”

Psychiatrists drugging children for “social justice”

It’s the latest thing. Psychiatrists are now giving children in poor neighborhoods Adderall, a dangerous stimulant, by making false diagnoses of ADHD, or no diagnoses at all. Their aim? To “promote social justice,” to improve academic performance in school.

The rationale is, the drugged kids will now be able to compete with children from wealthier families who attend better schools.

Leading the way is Dr. Michael Anderson, a pediatrician in the Atlanta area. Incredibly, Anderson told the New York Times his diagnoses of ADHD are “made up,” “an excuse” to hand out the drugs.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/09/health/attention-disorder-or-not-chi...

“We’ve decided as a society that it’s too expensive to modify the kid’s environment. So we have to modify the kid,” Anderson said.

It would be hard to find a clearer mission statement from a psychiatrist: mind control.

Planned Parenthood chapters among those receiving new Obamacare grants

Planned Parenthood chapters in Iowa, Missouri and Montana received just over $1 million in federal grant funding Wednesday to help Obamacare customers sign up for coverage, even as Republicans in Congress battle to strip the women’s health provider of any federal funding at all amid raging controversy over its abortion practice.

The chapters were among 100 recipients of $67 million in so-called “navigator” grants doled out by the Obama administration Wednesday to nonprofits in 34 states that help people get covered under the Affordable Care Act.

EPA May Set Limits on the Amount of GMO Corn Grown in US

Companies like Monsanto have long touted the benefits of their genetically modified seeds, which make up about half of their annual profits. But these pesticide producing plants have a major downside. While they may produce higher yields at first, the pests they’re supposed to kill can quickly evolve to resist the poison.

This is causing big problems for Americas corn crops, of which over 90% are genetically modified. GMO corn is starting to produce pesticide resistant rootworms, which are now more abundant than ever before. This in turn is forcing farmers to spray even more pesticides on their crops, which not only poses more risks for human health, but would increase the pesticide resistance of the rootworms in the long run. Now the EPA may set limits on how much GMO corn can be grown in the US. EPA deputy Bill Jordan noted “It is getting worse, what’s happened so far hasn’t prevented these problems from arising, so we see need for something more.”

PIERS MORGAN: Put a fork in her, because Hillary's done. Nobody will ever trust her again

It’s over.

Hillary Clinton is not going to be the next President of the United States.

It’s not because she demanded skim milk for her tea, though any discerning tea-drinker would always insist on at least semi-skim.

It’s not because she couldn’t work out how to watch ‘Parks and Recreation’ or ‘The Good Wife’ on catch-up TV, though coupled with her general apparent ignorance of all new technology this does little to negate the nagging sense that she’s simply too old for the top job in America.

It’s not because her aides sometimes go 100 hours without sleep, though this might explain why this campaign has been so disastrous.

And it’s definitely not because of her views on Gefilte fish, which remain a blissful mystery.

No, the reason why Hillary won’t make it back to the White House is because Americans simply don’t trust her.

Live Baby ‘Just Fell Out,’ Parts Sold for Profit

On the video StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer describes starting her private for-profit company after working as a procurement specialist for non-profit Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR). She says ABR used to collect specimens for free until she started StemExpress and began offering payments for collection.

That seems to have changed profoundly because Dyer now charges that ABR pays an “advisor fee” to abortion clinic board members in order to have exclusive access to aborted fetal baby parts. Moreover, according to documents provided by the Center for Medical Progress, ABR now pays $340 per second trimester specimen.

According to CMP, “ABR is the oldest baby-parts company in the U.S., founded in 1989 by Linda Tracy. For twenty-six years they have partnered with multiple Planned Parenthood affiliates to harvest fetal tissue to sell for experimentation.”

On September 4th Morocco will hold municipal elections, after having postponed them as a response to the political parties’ demand, and due to tremendous reluctance among citizens to register as voters. As always in Morocco during the lead-up to elections, debate has been rampant on Facebook and on other social media.

NRC Rejects Recommendation to Require Nuclear Plant Owners to Establish Plans to Address a Core-Melt Accident

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has rejected the recommendation of the high-level task force it convened after the March 2011 Fukushima disaster to require nuclear plant owners to develop and maintain plans for coping with a core-melt accident. This decision will allow nuclear plants to continue to maintain those plans voluntarily and deny the agency the authority to review those plans or issue citations if they are deficient.

“Once again, the NRC is ignoring a key lesson of the Fukushima accident: Emergency plans are not worth the paper they are printed on unless they are rigorously developed, maintained and periodically exercised,” said Edwin Lyman, a senior scientist at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS). “When it comes to these critical safety measures, the NRC is allowing the industry to regulate itself.”

Bribing Bibi and His Proxies to Behave

There are a lot of expressions about standing up to bullies being the best policy. Unfortunately the White House has difficulty in following that sound advice when it comes to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his governing coalition of racists and thugs. And one might also add that the reticence also applies to dealing with Israel’s many friends in Congress, some of whom have apparently extorted their pound of flesh in exchange for their votes on the Iran deal.

How Obama Defeated AIPAC on Iran

It’s now virtually certain that the Iran nuclear deal will survive congressional challenge. If opponents pass a bill rejecting the agreement, supporters have the votes to sustain U.S. President Barack Obama’s veto in the House of Representatives. In the Senate, a bill condemning the deal may not even garner enough votes to pass in the first place.
The interesting question is why.

Dominionism Takes Center Stage in America

Did you stop to wonder how the political arena in the US got so top heavy with fundamentalist Christians? Indeed, as the social fabric began to fray under the multiplicity of stressors associated with modernization, a parallel movement of “back to fundamentals” began to emerge in all three Abrahamic religions. It is not only Islam that has birthed its own variety of fundamentalism. Orthodox synagogues are seeing a swelling of congregations, and a new strain of Christianity, which is both fiercely political as well as militant in its promotion of theocracy has emerged as a potent force on the American scene.

Christian Reconstructionism (CR) has been called “the American Taliban.”

Guantanamo Bay Prisons Could Be Moving To A Town Near You According To New Pentagon Plan

For years, many have protested the inhumane treatment that takes place at the US military base in Guantanamo Bay, and over time the US government has begun to scale back their activity at that site. However, they have not stopped the torture of detainees and other inhumane practices that the US military is involved in, these activities have just been spread out across numerous other bases both in the US and abroad.

EPA Raises Alarm Over GMO Crops that Are Breeding Swarms of These Mutant Bugs

One of the promises of GMO crops was that they would be more resistant to bugs and pests, however, it seems that the chemicals used on these crops, and the modifications that have been made to their basic structure, have actually created an explosion in pesticide resistant bugs. It was reported this week that genetically modified crops, corn specifically, has created a pesticide resistant rootworm, that is now stronger and more numerous than ever before. To make matters even worse, due to the growing over-infestation, farmers have been forced to use even more of the harmful pesticides that have been known to contribute to cancer, and are suspected of devastating the global honeybee population.

How The Trans-Agenda Seeks To Redefine Everyone

Did you think only women get pregnant? Or only women get abortions? Planned Parenthood and NARAL—ironically both pro-abortion organizations that self-identify as champions of women’s rights—may soon be trying to change your mind about that.
It’s About Control, Not Rights

The transgender movement has strong totalitarian overtones that Americans (especially certain senators) don’t fully understand. How else to describe a crusade with such far-reaching consequences for First Amendment rights? The legal destruction of gender distinctions will inevitably dissolve family autonomy, thereby uprooting freedom of association. Free expression becomes “hate speech” if one doesn’t fall into line with the directives of the transgender lobby or its pronoun protocol. Freedom of religion takes a direct hit any way you look at it.

A Once-Sunny Jeb Bush Appears Irked in Donald Trump’s Shadow

When Jeb Bush stopped by the Hampton Synagogue here on Saturday, he was expected to offer a critique of the Iran deal and a short version of his stump speech to the Orthodox congregation.

But something else was on his mind: the insults hurled at him by Donald J. Trump.

“I’ll just give you a little taste of the ‘low energy’ candidate’s life this week,” said Mr. Bush, referring to the stinging taunt Mr. Trump has repeatedly used to describe him.

Mr. Bush then spent a minute and a half reeling off the cities he had visited since Monday — among them McAllen, Tex.; Salt Lake City; Denver; Pensacola, Fla.; Birmingham, Ala.; Greensboro, N.C. — and noted that, earlier in the week, he had risen at 6 a.m. to go running with former members of the Navy SEALs near the Virginia coast.

“The ‘low energy’ candidate this week has only been six days, 16 hours a day campaigning with joy in my heart,” he said.
But Mr. Bush does not seem to be radiating much joy these days.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump met with Javier Palomarez, CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, behind closed doors Tuesday to discuss a number of issues important to Hispanic voters.

According to a statement by USHCC, the meeting was requested by Trump and lasted more than one hour at the billionaire's Fifth Avenue office building in New York City. Although USHCC has previously denounced Trump's rhetoric–particularly on the topic of immigration — as "harsh" and insensitive," Palomarez reportedly agreed to the meeting after Trump's advisers stressed that the pair's disagreement was "based on the media's mischaracterization of his stances."

"We wanted to hear Mr. Trump clearly articulate his views, away from the public spectacle, the media, and the debate floor," read the statement.

The US Opens New Fronts of Confrontation

To understand the essence of the problem, it is necessary to look at recent history. The ongoing crisis which began in 2007 came to China much weaker than Russia, Europe, and the US. China’s economic growth slowed down, but that’s it. Even the collapse in 2009 did not cause a recession. The Chinese government quickly switched the economy towards the domestic market, stimulating it by accelerating the growth of the population’s incomes. Between 2007 and 2015, the minimum salary in the country increased by almost 2.5 times. Its annual growth was 11-15%. Throughout industry as a whole, wages increased almost three times. In fact, the global crisis, started by the US in 2007, didn’t affect China. On the contrary, it has become stronger in relation to its competitors. And it was necessary to do something about this...

How Shoddy Science Creates Big Government

In the popular imagination, the work of scientists is marked by a series of "Eureka!" moments. But most science is not about glorious flashes of insight. Instead, its humble aim is to be less wrong about the theories that govern our understanding of the universe.

The best way to judge new theories, then, is the old adage of "trust, but verify." In recent decades, however, this simple advice has been ignored thanks to perverse incentives and human biases.

The amount of funding available to scientific research hasn't kept up with the growing number of scientists in training. To get a bite of the funding pie, many scientists have been led astray. How many? Witness the ten-fold rise in the number of retractions issues in scientific literature, nearly half of which may be the result of fraud. – Quartz, Aug. 28, 2015

Reporter Makes Bombshell Announcement About Hillary’s Newly Released Emails That No One Realized

Attkisson wrote the following on her personal website Tuesday after the emails were released:

The newly-released batch of Hillary Clinton emails provides further proof that Freedom of Information (FOI) law has been blatantly violated. The documents include material directly responsive to a FOI request I made back in 2012 after the Benghazi terrorist attacks on the U.S. compounds. However, the material was not produced at the time, as required by law. Once again, there appears to be nobody who holds government officials and agencies accountable for their routine violation of this law. So the infractions occur frequently and with impunity. If nobody policies our government officials and agencies–if they are above the law–then how does a lawful society function?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Behind this latest scandal of Hillary violating the FOIA lies the bigger scandal that the US was smuggling weapons from Libya to Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria at a time when the American people were being told that Al Qaeda and ISIS are our enemies in the War on Terror. If Hillary did this on her own she is technically guilty of treason; giving aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war. If Hillary was acting under orders from Obama, then it reveals the entire War on Terror is a hoax, an excuse for a US campaign of conquest and regime change.

First, spy satellite information is frequently classified at the top-secret level and handled within a special compartment called Talent-Keyhole. This means it is one of the most sensitive forms of intelligence gathered by the U.S.

Hillary Clinton may have broken US secrecy rules with emails from Tony Blair and Downing Street

Hillary Clinton may have broken US secrecy rules by handling classified information from Tony Blair and the British government on her personal email account.

Newly disclosed emails from Mrs Clinton's time as US secretary of state show she regularly received sensitive details from Mr Blair and UK officials on an email server based in her home in New York.

The former prime minister, writing on his own personal account, sent notes on his work as Middle East peace envoy while Mrs Clinton's aides passed on briefings from Downing Street on Northern Ireland.

Under US secrecy rules classified information should not be shared by email because of the risk it could be intercepted by foreign hackers. The FBI is now investigating the security of the email server.

North Dakota Just Authorized Police Use of “Less-than-Lethal” Weaponized Drones

How do you feel about police in modern America using tasers and tear gas against the citizenry? How is that working out for us?

Well, now the state of North Dakota has granted police the ability to legally deploy taser and tear gas-equipped drones against the people.

HB 1328 was originally supposed to be about placing stricter limits on law enforcement use of drones but… nope. Thanks to a nice little amendment that got tacked on by a drone lobbyist, North Dakota has officially passed a bill allowing the cops to add weaponized drones to their arsenal.

Carly wins? CNN to unveil changes to criteria for next GOP debate

CNN has scheduled a phone call at 5 p.m. EDT on Tuesday with the GOP presidential campaigns to discuss changes to the criteria determining which candidates will get to appear on main stage at the next debate later this month, The Washington Times has learned.

The call is the outgrowth of negotiations between CNN and the Republican National Committee, which sanctions the party’s debates, to address concerns raised by the GOP’s only female candidate, Carly Fiorina, that the original criteria wrongly has kept her form the stage even as she is rising in the polls.

TIGTA: IRS Could Not Verify 40% Of $15 Billion Of Affordable Care Act Tax Credits Due To Lack Of Data From Health Insurance Exchanges

Because of incomplete and unreported data from the Exchanges, the IRS is unable to ensure that taxpayers claiming the PTC purchased insurance through an Exchange and properly reconciled APTCs received. However, the IRS has developed processes to identify erroneous PTC claims. Our review of these processes identified that 79 of the 80 reject code conditions and 16 of the 20 PTC error codes were working as intended. Computer programming errors resulted in the reject and PTC error codes not always identifying tax returns with the particular error condition. The IRS plans to make programming corrections.

Forbes Fail! Western media outlet publishes fake Russian troop casualty article, and its zombie readers actually believe it

Due to a lack of actual evidence (i.e. photos, videos, something, anything) to show that some 1,000 to 50,000 Russian troops have invaded Ukraine some 37 plus times and counting…Forbes has just said screw it, and is now printing anything they find on the web that says Russian military is operating in Ukraine.

Forum posts, tweets, blog comments, post-it notes…anything to try and garner support for the magazine’s MIC sponsors. More weapon sales means more money for the rich 1% Forbes guys.

Calling on their trusted Russophobe scaremonger contributor Paul R. Gregory to provide some “Russian aggression” goodies, the Kiev consultant and Hoover Institute sponsored “academic” came up with a suspicious, little known web site, owned by a shell company in Ukraine, printing a fake Russian military casualty story…no sources, no research, no fact checking, no google search…nada – nothing.

Is Trump the Last Chance for White People?

Donald Trump may be the last hope for a president who would be good for white people.
Donald Trump’s new position paper on immigration makes it official: He is easily the best presidential candidate on border security and immigration since Pat Buchanan. And we can be sure he is not a bait-and-switch politician who excites supporters with a few sensible ideas and then betrays them. Mr. Trump has single-handedly made immigration the key issue of this election. His heart is in it when he says we need to build a wall, deport illegals, and have an immigration “pause” until every American who wants a job gets one.

John Rappoport: Is Trump a stage prop to hand Hillary the election?

“But wait. Some billionaire cowboy with a very spotty past has entered the lists. He’s reckless. He’s all over the place. He’s insulting the sacred media stars. He’s ruining The Show. He’s making a mockery out of it. He’s torpedoing everybody. He’s scamming the scammers. He’s upsetting The Sincere Voters who believe in the system like babies believe in Mommy and Daddy. And some claim that—wait for it—the cowboy is there to deliver the election to Ms. Ooze instead of Mr. Venom. This is shocking, I tell you. Shocking. And there’s more. This cowboy has been charged with making promises he doesn’t intend to keep. My God. Has any candidate in recent memory done that? A revered critic for the New York Times, Calder A Hogsniffer, takes it a step further. Higsniffer proposes that the cowboy is, in fact, raising several legitimate issues, but by lending his name to them he is degrading those issues and postponing the day when they’ll be taken seriously by the electorate. Certainly, no presidential candidate has ever tried that before. Heavens no. This cowboy is, well, crashing the party and spoiling it for everybody.”

Too big to Investigate: Vaccine industry now enjoying total immunity from all laws due to intimidated, corrupt lawmakers

November 2016, when American voters will once again cast their ballot for president, is still a long way off. However, judging by the rising popularity of the early frontrunners – “Independent” socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders on the Left and billionaire businessman Donald Trump, a non-politician if there ever was one, on the Right – one thing is apparent to this political scientist: an increasing number of people are fed up with “the Establishment” of both major parties.

The Production of Evil (an op-ed from Russia)

If you can't unite your subjects by serving their common interests, you can do it using a common enemy. And if this common enemy doesn't exist—no problem, you can create one with your own hands. You can give it the opportunity to grow up, give it weapons, grant it immunity and release it into the world.

The most important thing in such a creation is that it must be horrible. It must be self-evidently horrible. So horrible that everyone—even the idiots—could understand that this—this thing covered in blood, holding a torn-off human leg in its hand—is the only alternative to having the United States of America in complete control of everything. That burning people alive, mass executions, beheadings, sanctioned rapes—this is the only alternative to gay marriage, feminism, total surveillance of everyone and extraterritorial American “justice.”

The western establishment is nurturing ISIS like an attack dog, feeding it, training it to like human blood, in order to then release it and offer people the freedom of choice: you can die in its teeth, or you can hide behind a gate, the keys to which are in the hands of global capitalism......

This Iowa poll shows just how amazing Donald Trump’s rise has been

Donald Trump leads the Republican 2016 field in a new Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics of Iowa voters. But that's not the real story.

The real story is contained deeper in the poll. In May, when the Register last polled, 27 percent of likely Iowa GOP caucus-goers viewed Trump favorably while 63 percent regarded him unfavorably. In the new poll, which was released Saturday night, Trump's favorable number is at 61 percent and his unfavorable at 35 percent.

...

In the almost 20 years — gulp — I have spent following politics closer than close, I've never seen anything like the total reversal in how Trump is perceived by Republican voters. It is, quite literally, unprecedented.
