"Christianity is NOT a religion; it is the proclamation of the end of religion. Religion is a human activity dedicated to the job of reconciling God to humanity and humanity to itself. The Gospel, however - the Good News of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the astonishing announcement that God has done the whole work of reconciliation without a scrap of human assistance. It is the bizarre proclamation that religion is over - period." -- Robert F. Capon

Americans Ready to Welcome Putin, But Congress Won’t

US media coverage suggests hostility toward diplomatic engagement with Russia as a matter of course. A new HarrisX poll, however, suggests that this is not the view of the majority of the American public, with 54% approving of President Trump inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin to the White House for a second summit.

The first summit, held earlier this month in Helsinki, was seemingly successful, despite it being followed by negative media coverage and attacks from lawmakers in both parties. Trump followed this up by inviting Putin for a second summit, this time in the US.

American public support for such a summit doesn’t extend to Congress, however. On Tuesday, Congressional leadership announced that even if Putin does come to the White House, he will not be invited to address Congress or visit the Capitol building.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The warmongers and Deep Staters will do anything they think they can get away with, to prevent a peace deal between the US and Russia.

And BTW, where is there concrete, and irrefutable proof, that Russia interfered with the 2016 elections?!? An alleged "bipartisan consensus" does not create facts on the ground.

IF such evidence cannot be presented, it absolutely does not exist, period, end of discussion.

Deported Migrants Leaving at Least 142 Children in U.S., Perhaps Hundreds

The number of Central Americans migrants who have left their children in the United States has risen to at least 142 and may reach several hundred, according to a July 23 agency statement to a district court judge in California.

The rising total of self-separating families shows the foreign migrants are gaming the federal government’s asylum process to deliver their children to in-laws and relatives living in the United States. Once delivered by government officials, the migrants’ children can continue to apply for asylum, to attend Americans’ schools or and get jobs.

Some 600 Detained Migrants Are Pregnant, Will Bear Citizen Children

In as troubling an immigration story as anyone will read this summer, between December 2017 and April 2018, U.S. Border Patrol and other immigration officials detained nearly 600 pregnant illegal aliens. All hope to give birth to children who will automatically be granted the world’s most coveted and cherished prize, United States citizenship.

Atop most analysts’ immigration grievance lists would be anchor baby citizenship, the process through which any child born on U.S. soil automatically receives U.S. citizenship. Over the decades that birthright citizenship has been adopted as common practice, even though the Supreme Court has never ruled on its legitimacy, tens of thousands of new American citizens have been born.

TV News Gives Migrants 120 Times Airtime As Victimized Americans

More than 90 percent of establishment media coverage is hostile towards President Donald Trump’s immigration policies, says a report by the Media Research Center.

“The negative tone is a consequence of journalists’ decision to frame nearly all of their coverage around the plight of those adversely affected by the administration’s enforcement program, rather than those harmed by illegal immigration or those who support enforcing existing law,” MRC said.

Since January 2017, the evening news broadcasts by CBS, NBC and ABC have let only four victims of violence by illegal immigrants state their case on TV, while 478 migrants, illegal immigrants, and other foreigners were given time in front of the camera to make their case to Americans, said the report.

Fake Indian Elizabeth Warren Suggests 50% Democrat Tax Rates – Calls Trump Tax Bonuses “Crumbs”

Thanks to President Trump’s tax cuts and reforms 90% of American wage earners have a higher take-home pay this year.

Over 3 million working Americans have received Trump tax cut bonuses as a result of the Trump tax reform law.

But fake Elizabeth Warren wants to take that all away.

Elizabeth Warren told CNBC Democrats will end the Trump tax cuts if they take power in November.

Warren also promoted a 50% tax hike on American earners.

Webmaster's Commentary:

They can pass a bill to end the cuts, but if Trump doesn't sign it. It means nothing. And telegraphing a major tax increase ahead of the mid term elections is not likely to garner more votes for the Democrats.

Just How Far Will the Left Go?

There was no honeymoon for the unlikely winner of the 2016 election. Progressives have in succession tried to sue to overturn Trump’s victory using several different approaches. First on the bogus claim of fraudulent voting machines. Then they sought to subvert the Electoral College by bullying electors into renouncing their respective states’ votes.

Massive protests and boycotts marked the inauguration. Then there were articles of impeachment introduced in the House. Some sued to remove Trump on a warped interpretation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution. Others brought in psychiatrists to testify that Trump was ill, disabled, or insane and should be removed in accordance with the 25th Amendment. The former FBI director, CIA director, and director of the Office of National Intelligence have variously smeared the president as a coward, a traitor, and a Russian mole.

Pure obstructionism: Democrats REFUSING to meet with SCOTUS nominee Kavanaugh, claiming ‘scheduling’ conflicts

Remember a few years ago when Senate Democrats were angered by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s decision not to hold a confirmation hearing on President Obama’s third Supreme Court nominee, Judge Merrick Garland?

“Do your job!” rallies were held by Dems in Washington, D.C., as they implored the Kentucky Republican to at least schedule a confirmation hearing.

McConnell responded that the Senate, in its “advice and consent” role, was neither obligated to vet Garland or “give consent” to his appointment.

Water Facility Attack Cuts Off 10,500 People From Safe Drinking Water in Yemen

An attack, carried out this week on the Nushour water facility in Yemen’s northwestern city of Sa’dah, cut off 10,500 people, including over 5,000 children, from safe drinking water, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said on Tuesday.

According to the fund, this has been the third attack on the facility since this March.

"UNICEF deplores in the strongest terms yet another attack on vital and lifesaving water systems in Yemen. A large water facility in Sa’ada, northwest of the country, came under attack this week. This is the third such attack on the same facility. More than half of the project is now damaged, cutting off 10,500 people from safe drinking water," a UNICEF report quoted Geert Cappelaere, the UNICEF Regional Director in the Middle East and North Africa.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ah, but you see, this is precisely the consequence the Butcher of Yemen, AKA Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Bin Salman, wants to see happen here: and the US military is enabling his war crimes in Yemen.

I would strongly suggest tht upon his demise, that there is a very special place in hell, waiting for him.

With more cholera and other water-borne diseases infesting Yemen's water, leading to more starvations and deaths, the fewer bombs and bullets will be needed to kill off more Yemeni children and innocent civilians : that is absolutely the math here.

And here is what this war looks like from the Yemeni side, and what is being done to the Yemeni people in your names, and with your tax dollars, please look at the following images: (warning: very graphic)

Images: Yemeni children killed or maimed for life, Courtesy of Saudi boming runs

Images: Yemeni children starving to death, courtesy of Saudi port blockade

Doesn't this just make you proud to be an American, whose government participates in war crimes in Yemen?!?

Ninth U.S. Circuit Rules OPEN CARRY of Firearms Guaranteed by Second Amendment - IN ALL STATES! ** NO PERMIT NEEDED **

A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit has just ruled that the right to openly carry a firearm for the purpose of self-defense is a protected activity under the Second Amendment. The case is Young vs. Hawaii and the lawsuit challenges a Hawaii law, which says A concealed carry or open carry permit is only issued once you’ve convinced the local police chief that you are engaged in an activity “[w]here the urgency or the need has been sufficiently indicated” and the applicant “is engaged in the protection of life and property.”

Army arms Bradleys with heat-seeking, drone-killing Stinger missiles

The Army is arming Bradley Fighting Vehicles with heat-seeking Stinger air defense missiles to give the infantry carriers an improved ability to track and destroy enemy air threats such as drones, helicopters and low-flying aircraft.

Most current Bradleys are armed with TOW anti-tank missiles, a land weapon predominantly used for attacking enemy armored vehicles, bunkers or troop formations. Adding Stinger missiles will increase the attack envelope for the vehicles and potentially better enable them to protect maneuvering infantry and mechanized forces in combat.

Government Admits AR-15s Are Not Weapons of War

In its settlement with Cody Wilson’s Defense Distributed the government admitted that semi-automatic firearms below .50 caliber are not weapons of war.

On July 10, 2018, Breitbart News reported that the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) brought a suit against the State Department on Wilson’s behalf. The suit was filed in 2015 and was the result of State Department action to force Wilson to quit sharing 3-D gun files online.

Wilson and SAF fought the suit on First Amendment grounds and secured a settlement with the State Department and the Department of Justice, the latter of which finalizes the settlement.

The amended regulations proposed in the settlement show the government will no longer look at semi-automatic firearms below .50 caliber as “military equipment” or weapons of war.

Lying media now trying to memory-hole all the times Hillary Clinton met with Putin and cavorted with the Russians

Amid absurd allegations of “treason” and “traitor,” the establishment is attempting to create the false narrative that POTUS Trump has somehow sold out his soul (and the country) to the Russian dictator, ‘proving,’ of course, that our president was always in ‘Putin’s pocket.’

Nothing could be further from the truth. While very few people know what was said during Trump’s private meetings with Putin — which were very private because he was concerned about leaks (and justifiably so) — to assert that “Make America Great Again” Trump really is a Moscow sell-out is just lunacy.

That aside, what’s also lunacy is the fact that the same Left-wing media establishment now roasting POTUS Trump over his attempts to improve relations with a well-armed nuclear power are memory-holing those times when the Obama administration made very similar efforts to improve ties with Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

Trey Gowdy: After 18 Months, There’s NO EVIDENCE Of Russian Collusion

Republican representative, Trey Gowdy from South Carolina said that in 18 months, he has not seen “one scintilla” of evidence that Donald Trump colluded with Russia. He added that if that evidence existed, we could all rest assured that it would have been leaked by now.

Since leaks from the White House are not few and far between since Donald Trump has taken office, Gowdy is likely onto something here. There are leaks about everything and regarding everything.

Carter Page Says Clinton Campaign Was Spreading Rumors of Russian Collusion Months Before Dossier Surfaced

Carter Page: It’s funny in July of 2016, two months before the Yahoo news article came out I started getting these calls from various news reporters, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, all asking me about these same two names of people I’ve never even heard of, I’ve heard of Sachin, I never even heard of (Igor) Diveykin. So it was obvious. Some people told me from the media they heard it from the Clinton campaign, etc.

Carter Page denied this weekend that he ever discussed lifting Western sanctions with Igor Sachin, a high ranking Russian official. Page never even met the guy. But he was spied on anyway by the criminal Obama regime.

Goodlatte, Nunes Call for Carter Page FISA Applications To Be Unredacted

Two House Republican chairmen are calling on the Trump Justice Department to fully unredact the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) applications the FBI used to get surveillance warrants on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) told Fox News on Sunday that he has seen the unredacted applications, and that the American people should see them, too.

“It is critically important that the American people have the opportunity to see most of the rest of those documents,” he said.

He said sources and methods used in investigations should be protected, but that most of the information “should easily be seen by the American people.”

“They can judge for themselves, but I will tell you it does not support the issuance of a warrant against Mr. Page,” he said.

'The Crazies Were Right, And I Was Wrong': Former Federal Prosecutor Speaks Of 'Rogue' FBI & FISA Court Abuses

Former Federal Prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, while being critical of many aspects of the special counsel probe into Russian collusion with the Trump campaign, had long maintained that the FISA warrants obtained by the FBI/DOJ, were applied for and granted properly, until the controversial Nunes' memo regarding FISA abuses was release, and later confirmed by the Senate Judiciary Commitees Grassley-Graham memo back in February 2018.

At the time McCarthy wrote the following:

With its verification by the Grassley-Graham memo, the Nunes memo now has about a thousand times more corroboration than the Steele dossier, the basis of the heinous allegations used by the Justice Department and FBI to get the FISA warrants.

FISA warrant revelations reveal how Obama’s deep state weaponized government to illegally spy on political opponents

On Saturday government watchdog organization Judicial Watch finally received documents related to the FBI’s FISA court warrants against one-time advisor to the 2016 Trump presidential campaign Carter Page.

The documents, requested more than a year ago under terms of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), were sought by the group over suspicions that the government went to the super-secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court with less-than-truthful information regarding Page and the Trump campaign in regards to alleged “Russian collusion.”

Turns out that Judicial Watch’s hunch may have been spot-on.

Meadows also previously called for the Carter Page FISA documents to be declassified and further unredacted.

The top GOP lawmaker tweeted out a screenshot of Rosenstein’s signature on the Carter Page FISA application and called for the DAG to step aside.

Meadows tweeted: Potential FISA abuse has been a central issue in Congress’ investigation of the DOJ. The Carter Page FISA application revealed Rod Rosenstein signed the document and authorized surveillance. Mr. Rosenstein is a fact witness and should recuse himself from this process immediately.

Two Districts in Southeast Afghanistan Fall to Taliban

Taliban fighters have overrun two districts in the southeastern province of Paktika, on the border with Pakistan, officials said Tuesday as heavy fighting continued across Afghanistan.

Local officials said Taliban fighters began attacking security checkpoints and the centers of Omna and Gayan districts in Paktika on Sunday, forcing Afghan security forces in the area to pull out, leaving large quantities of weapons and equipment.

"After almost two days of heavy fighting, Taliban captured both district centers," provincial council member Fazel Rahman Katawazi said, adding that three members of the Afghan security forces were killed and a number of others injured.

The Taliban have taken a series of district centers this year, many of which have been subsequently retaken by Afghan security forces, which control areas with around two-thirds of the country's population.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Roughly stable", General Nicholson, MY ASTROLABE!!!!

Sir, respectfully, the US and NATO forces are continuing to get clobbered, and 17 years on, the Afghani people have not been "pacified".

This will only happen when the US and NATO joint command simply carpet bomb the country, and kill millions; we both know that this will not happen: the optics would simply be too horrific (although I would imagine that such an attack may well have been discussed.)

IF US officials and the NATO High Command had two braincells to rub together, they would withdraw US and NATO soldiers out of the country as rapidly as was safely possible, then negotiate with whatever government was left standing in Kabul for the pipeline, rare earth, and opium poppy rights.

Unfortunately, of course, such a plan... would be logical, and therefore would be rejected immediately.

How many Afghanis, US and NATO troops are going to have to continue to die because of this prolonged barbaric stupidity, which is getting the US and NATO no where near their actual goals of resource expropriation in Afghanistan than they were 17 years ago, when Bush had the country invaded?!?!?

Trump Calls For EU To Drop All Trade Barriers Ahead Of Juncker Visit

With Jean-Claude Juncker probably in the air right now, flying to his White House meeting on Wednesday, President Trump threw a wrench in the prepared script when on Tuesday evening he appealed for a return to (truly) free trade and urged Europe to "drop all Tariffs, Barriers and Subsidies" shortly after his administration imposed tariffs on EU imports, and Europe retaliated.

"That would finally be called Free Market and Fair Trade! Hope they do it, we are ready - but they won’t!" Trump tweeted.

Pro-EU crowd braces as Bannon unveils right-wing counterpart to Soros’ foundation

Steve Bannon’s idea to set up a Soros-styled NGO to prop up Europe’s right-wing parties has caused quite a stir among liberals and the left, who rushed to accuse the former Trump advisor of planning an “attack on democracy.”
Bannon’s new non-profit organization, blandly dubbed ‘The Movement’ is set to establish itself in Brussels and would bring together right-wing parties from across Europe. The former chief advisor of Donald Trump unveiled the plan last week, seeking to provide like-minded parties with the support of think tanks, the organization of polls and valuable insights on data-targeting.

Member of the European Parliament from Germany and center-left politician Udo Bullmann branded Bannon’s idea “an attack on freedom and democracy in Europe,” vowing a “response’ to his initiative. Renata Alt from Germany’s Free Democrats Party, for her part, described the plan to establish The Movement as a “frontal attack on the EU and European values.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

It appears that the Eurocrats are shaking in their boots over this, and will attempt to do anything to shut Bannon up.

And the reason they are describing The Movement as a “frontal attack on the EU and European values”, is that there are many in Europe who are tired and outraged at the horrific costs, both personal and financial, which unfettered immigration has created in Europe.

For heavens' sake, Sweden has had to start a program to teach immigrants not to rape Sweden's women!!Sweden investing millions to teach immigrants not to rape

There is no upside to unfettered, unchecked immigration; and many times, these people were promised what host countries could not possibly deliver.

I do, however, have a modest proposal for George Soros, Mr. Open Borders; sir, you own properties all over the world; why not have Europe resettle ALL of these immigrants on your properties?!? THAT would sort it, wouldn't it?!?!

OF course, the US stopping the wars from which these migrants are fleeing would be the logical step here; but don't expect that to happen until the moment when when pigs discover they are aerodynamic.

Julian Assange And The Dying Of The Light

One thing that’s not receiving enough attention in the respective Assange and Russia coverage is to what extent both protagonists are needed in each other’s narratives to keep each of these alive. Likewise, if Assange is not put straight in the middle of the Russia story, it too loses much. Heart doctor who treated former President George H.W. Bush KILLED in a drive-by bicycle shooting

The media is reporting that a cardiologist who at one time treated former President George H.W. Bush was recently shot dead while riding his bicycle on South Main Street, near Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women in Houston.

Dr. Mark Hausknecht, 65, was reportedly biking north-bound on his way to work when the shooter, also riding a bicycle and heading south, brandished a firearm. The man took two shots at Hausknecht, who was pronounced dead not long after, before proceeding onward on his route.

The strange incident occurred just before 9 a.m. on July 20, according to Executive Assistant Police Chief Troy Finner. Investigators are still trying to determine whether or not the shooting was intentional, or if it was simply random or prompted by road rage.

Lawsuit settlement will allow online blueprints for 3D-printed guns

Beginning Aug. 1, a Texas company will be able to publish its blueprints to make guns from 3D printers without fear of reprisal by the U.S. State Department.

Defense Distributed will be able to publish the blueprints as a result of a June 29 lawsuit settlement with the federal agency, report Wired, Vice News, the San Jose Mercury News, the New York Times and USA Today. Josh Blackman’s Blog posted a press release.

The State Department had warned company chief Cody Wilson in 2013 that he could go to jail for violating federal export controls after he published blueprints for a 3D pistol called “The Liberator”. Defense Distributed had claimed in its 2015 suit that the State Department violated the company’s First Amendment rights by trying to control its online speech under a federal law controlling exports of military articles.

US signs new contract for Javelin anti-tank missile systems production for Ukraine

US takes decision to supply lethal defensive weapons to Ukraine
"Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin JV, Tucson, Arizona, was awarded a $307,535,950 modification… to Foreign Military Sales (Australia, Estonia, Lithuania, Turkey Taiwan and Ukraine) contract… for Javelin Weapon System full-rate production," the US Department of Defense said in a statement.

In late April, a spokesperson for the US Department of State confirmed that the US administration had sent a first batch of Javelin anti-tank missile systems to the Ukrainian authorities.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If you are willing to listen to people who will tell you the truth here, this situation has utterly no military solution whatsoever, and sending more weapons here is like setting a match to dry tinder.

China and Bhutan share a 470 kilometer long border. Territorial disputes have been a source of potential conflict, the most contested area being the Doklam plateau, where China allegedly tried to build a road last year, resulting in military intervention by India, Bhutan’s all-weather friend.

New Delhi (Sputnik): China and Bhutan have discussed the border issue at length during a three day trip of Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou to the Himalayan nation, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, which has claimed that China holds its traditional friendship with Bhutan in high regard.

"Both sides should continue to promote border talks, abide by the principles and consensus already reached, and jointly protect peace and tranquillity in the border region to create positive conditions for a final resolution," the Chinese Foreign Ministry statement cited Kong as saying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a positive development between two nuclear-armed nations; let us hope it bears fruit.

The last thing this planet needs... is a nuclear conflict between China and India.

Can We Trust Experts?

Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers predicted that if Donald Trump were elected, there would be a protracted recession within 18 months. Heeding its experts, a month before the election, The Washington Post ran an editorial with the headline “A President Trump could destroy the world economy.” Steve Rattner, a Democratic financier and former head of the National Economic Council, warned, “If the unlikely event happens and Trump wins, you will see a market crash of historic proportions.” When Trump’s electoral victory became apparent, Nobel Prize-winning economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman warned that the world was “very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight.” By the way, Krugman has been so wrong in so many of his economic predictions, but that doesn’t stop him from making more shameless predictions.

New international investigation tackles ‘fake science’ and its poisonous effects

Hundreds of thousands of scientists worldwide have published studies in self-described scientific journals that don’t provide traditional checks for accuracy and quality, according to a new journalistic investigation.

Dozens of reporters from media outlets in Europe, Asia and the United States have analysed 175,000 scientific articles published by five of the world’s largest pseudo-scientific platforms including India-based Omics Publishing Group and the Turkey-based World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology, or Waset. In addition to failing to perform peer or editorial committee reviews of articles, the companies charge to publish articles, accept papers by employees of pharmaceutical and other companies as well as by climate-change skeptics promoting questionable theories.

WaPo: "God Bless The Deep State" For Standing Between Us And The Abyss

Last Thursday, Eugene Robinson – MSNBC analyst and writer for the Washington Post – published a column criticizing President Trump for failing to side with the U.S. intelligence community over their conclusion on Russian meddling in the 2016 election during a diplomatic summit with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland.

Remember when the “deep state” was written off as a conspiracy theory?

How times have changed.

Robinson writes:

With a supine Congress unwilling to play the role it is assigned by the Constitution, the deep state stands between us and the abyss.

Throughout his article, Robinson defends the integrity and reputation of U.S. intelligence agencies – the same organizations that concluded Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and launched us into a decade-long quagmire in the Middle East.

Liquid water 'lake' revealed on Mars

Researchers have found evidence of an existing body of liquid water on Mars.

What they believe to be a lake sits under the planet's south polar ice cap, and is about 20km (12 miles) across.

Previous research found possible signs of intermittent liquid water flowing on the martian surface, but this is the first sign of a persistent body of water on the planet in the present day.

Yesterday we saw a third attempt by Israel to pretend that Russia had offered or made a deal to counter 'Iranian presence':

A senior political source participated in the meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Russian Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem Sunday evening.
"It was made clear again that we would not accept Iranian consolidation in Syria, not near the border, and not in the 100-kilometer strip that the Russians are talking about and committing to," the senior official said. "We said that there is long-range weapons placed beyond this area and all these forces have to leave Syria. Russia has considerable capabilities to deal with this, because it is a very significant factor within Syria."

A former school groundskeeper in California testified Monday in a landmark lawsuit claiming that repeated exposure to Monsanto's popular Roundup weedkiller caused his terminal cancer.

"I would never have sprayed the product around school grounds or around people if I thought it would cause them harm," the 46-year-old Dewayne "Lee" Johnson told the San Francisco Superior Court jury, as quoted by the San Francisco Chronicle. "They deserve better."

Dewayne Johnson v. Monsanto Company is considered a "bellwether" case. If Johnson is successful, it could open the door for roughly 4,000 other similar lawsuits against Monsanto. Conversely, if he loses, it could discourage the other cases.

The plaintiffs claim that exposure to Monsanto's glyphosate-based herbicide caused them or their loved ones to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). The lawsuits also allege that the company suppressed scientific evidence related to the health risks of its weedkillers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Of course, Monsanto has "morphed" into Bayer through their recent merger:
Bayer Monsanto Merger in Landmark Settlement

IF this lawsuit is successful, I have to wonder if the newly merged entity will be held harmless and indemnified for any injuries Monsanto created with the widespread use of Glyphosate; that's one way corporations absolve themselves of any responsibilities for injuries their prodcucts cause, and the timing of this merger could well be engineered to prevent damages from this, and other lawsuits probably to follow.

US Intelligence Community as a Collapse Driver

In recent years, the US intelligence agencies have decided that torturing prisoners is a good idea, but they have mostly been torturing innocent bystanders, not professional spies, sometimes forcing them to invent things, such as “Al Qaeda.” There was no such thing before US intelligence popularized it as a brand among Islamic terrorists.

Can you see the pattern?

It goes on and on, Rosenstein becomes Asst. Attorney General, Comey gets fired based upon a letter by Rosenstein, Comey leaks government information to the press, Mueller is assigned to the Russian Investigation sham by Rosenstein to provide cover for decades of malfeasance within the FBI and DOJ and the story continues.

France's opposition conservative party ThenRepublicans has called for a vote of no-confidence in the government amid an ongoing scandal with the head of President Emmanuel Macron's security team, who was filmed assaulting protesters during a May Day rally.

Critics accuse Macron of failing to punish Alexandre Benalla and say that the president has lost touch with ordinary people since he took over the country’s top job more than a year ago.

"The government has failed and must be held responsible in front of parliament," the head of The Republicans party in the lower house, Christian Jacob, told reporters.

The United States Army is preparing for decades of hybrid wars across multiple domains - space, cyberspace, air, land, and, maritime. Back in October, we examined the Army’s latest Training and Doctrine Command report, which highlights how the next round of hybrid wars could begin somewhere around 2025 and last through 2040.

Currently, the Army is in a transitional period [quiet period] before the next round of wars start. President Trump has infused the Pentagon with more than $700 billion this fiscal year, in the attempt to plug significant gaps and expand emerging technologies. For instance, the Army has made it clear that it will replace its three decades old M249 light machine gun and the Colt M4 Modular Weapon System Carbine, with a lightweight and higher chamber pressure assault rifle.

Eric Holder Hints at Possible 2020 Presidential Bid

On Monday night, Former Attorney General Eric Holder told Stephen Colbert that he would decide whether to run for president “sometime early next year.”
Colbert questioned Holder regarding journalist April Ryan’s tweet that sources close to him said he was “seriously considering” running for President of the United States in 2020, to the applause of the studio audience.

“Were you just taking the temperature of America just now?” Colbert asked as the applause died down. “I was just looking to see potential contributors, you know. And cabinet members,” Holder replied.

“I’m thinking about it and what I’ve said is that I’d make a determination sometime early next year,” Holder elaborated. “My focus, really, now is on 2018, the midterms and trying to make sure that Democrats take back the Senate, take back the House, and that we do well, importantly, at the state level.”

Arkan Thaer Halami Mizher was wounded as residents of Dheisheh camp near the city of Bethlehem confronted raiding soldiers.

“Israeli forces closed the main road, preventing ambulances from reaching the area,” Defense for Children International Palestine stated. The boy was taken in a private car to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Such raids are commonplace throughout the West Bank.

My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks.”

– Barack Obama to bank CEOs in 2009 (he sure protected them)

I’m only half kidding with the title here. No, I don’t think establishment Democrats are actually trying to lose, but I agree with the sentiment that they’d rather continue to lose to Donald Trump with someone like Hillary Clinton, than win with someone like Bernie Sanders.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Tom Perez, Chair of the DNC, a word here, please.

The Democratic Party desperately needs an "emergency clintonectomy".

Her sense of entitlement; her and her husband's massive corruption, vis a vis the Clinton Foundation; and her nearly pathological unrelatability to average voters are issues which will not fundamentally change for the 2020 election.
Even the massive "magical thinking" of every great mind in your brain trust, cannot make those changes happen.

Oh, and BTW, why did she think it was perfectly acceptible to pose in front of the White House Christmas Tree with convicted drug felon, Jorge Cabrera?!?

Images: Hillary Clinton, posing with known Drug Felon Jorge Cabrera

So, here's the direction you should be going; and she (yes, SHE) walks among you right the heck now.

Her name, and it is one with which I trust you are familiar, and that is Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard, from Hawaii.

She is a quite a quadruple threat for 2020. She is very bright and articulate; She is a minority (Samoan-American), a Veteran, and someone who is pro-peace.

And trust me, Tom, if what is about to go down between now and the end of the year which I see going down (a major war against Iran, which will probably mean war with Russia), perhaps right before the mid-terms in 2018, the Democrats are going to DESPERATELY need a pro-peace candidate with both smarts and miitary experience to save this country from itself.

Please remember; the "drop dead date" President Trump has given countries around the world to stop buying oil from Iran is 4 November.

President Trump Gives the World the Deadline of 4 November to stop buying Iranian crude oil

Tom, please, tell me you understand that date was not accidental; The 4th is a Sunday, and mid-terms are on the 6th.

So, sir, the choice is very clear; will you trot out your two-time loser, Clinton, or choose someone who can bring the party together, with strong integrity and clear definition?!?

On July 24, the Syrian military faced the expected Israeli military actions resulting from Tel Aviv’s displeasure with the fact that its long-time supported militant-held buffer zone east of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights is crumbling.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) employed two Patirot air defense missiles to shoot down a Syrian Su-22 warplane involved in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) operation against ISIS in the area. One pilot, Colonel Umran Mare, died in the incident.

Israel claimed that the warplane entered about 1 mile into its airspace, meaning the occupied Golans, and was shot down after a few warnings. The Syrian side said that this once again shows Israeli support for terrorist groups operating in Syria.

Mueller & Holder Shut Down FBI Investigation of Stolen U.S. Stealth Defense Technology Implicating Lockheed Martin, While Comey Was Lockheed’s Top Lawyer

North Korea Talks Have Entered the Realm of Small Victories

Once upon a time, a couple months ago, National-Security Adviser John Bolton predicted how Donald Trump’s summit with Kim Jong Un would go down. The U.S. president would swiftly assess how serious the North Korean leader was about giving up his nuclear weapons. And assuming Kim was serious, U.S. authorities would “very quickly” swoop in, take apart North Korea’s nukes, and ship them off to Tennessee. This week, in a measure of how times have changed, progress from the June 12 summit finally came—and it came in the form of satellites spotting the partial dismantlement of some facilities at a satellite-launch site. “It is a better sign than nothing,” one South Korean official remarked. The Tennessee plan this is not.

That said, the demolition work at the Sohae station—involving a stand for testing engines used in missiles and a building near a launchpad for rocket-powered vehicles that send satellites into space—is still significant.

A messy, no-deal Brexit could throw 48 million insurance contracts and £26 trillion ($34 trillion) of derivatives deals into confusion. Nausicaa Delfas, head of international strategy at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), told delegates at a CityUK and Bloomberg event that there were “cliff-edge” risks due to uncertainty over the legality of financial contracts extending beyond the planned Brexit date, in March.

The UK government has already passed regulations that would allow European banks and insurers to maintain their UK operations under current rules after Brexit. So far, the EU has refused to reciprocate, even on a temporary basis.
